有關陳昌源捐贈本會一百萬元辦理國際賽事之相關報導多與事實不符, 特此說明

1.本會聽聞陳昌源先生該項捐助意願時非常感心，無論賽事能否辦理本會仍對陳昌源先生的捐助意願深表感謝。

2.本會至今並未收到該筆捐助款項，也未接獲其經紀人或公關顧問欲捐贈之通知。

3.今年3月28日某私人公關顧問拜訪本會，表示其團隊計劃7月27日在台北主辦男子國家隊邀請賽，本會表示樂觀其成並願意給予協助。

4.依雙方會議約定，協會代為協調場地(台北田徑場)檔期，檔期一經確定，該團隊必須立即支付台北市體育局場地押金。本會於會議後一週內已協調好7月27日場地並通知對方前往體育局支付押金，但該團隊至今都未支付押金。

5.依雙方會議約定：該團隊後續必需以法人或公司身分與協會簽訂協定/合約，以確認雙方工作內容並保障雙方利益。但會議過後該團隊未曾出面和本會討論或簽訂任何協定。

6.本會每年接獲多家公關或國際賽事仲介公司要求仲介辦理國際賽事，本會一向歡迎各式提案，但除了條件必須合理外提案公司財務健全度與團隊的執行能力更是最基本的考量條件。

7.本會歡迎並感謝各界熱心人士共同參與臺灣足球的發展，也希望各界熱心人士對足協的批評指教必須符合事實，臺灣足球的發展才能更成功。

Statement Regarding the International Friendly Match Proposed by Xavier Chen

Concerning the recent internet article on the alleged donation from Xavier Chen for the organisation of an international friendly match in cooperation with CTFA, CTFA would like to make a statement to clarify that the content of the article doesn’t comport with the facts. Explanations are as follows:

1. CTFA is truly honoured and grateful for the proposed donation from Xavier Chen. Whether the friendly match will take place or not, Xavier Chen is highly appreciated for his kind intentions in this matter.

2. However, CTFA has neither received the donation of one million Taiwan Dollars, nor any notice of donation from his agent or his public relations consultant.

3. A public relations consultant visited the CTFA Secretariat on 28 March expressing wishes for his promotional team to host a men’s international friendly match on 27 July. CTFA has promised to assist and was willing to support their organisation..

4. According to the agreement made by both sides, CTFA would be responsible for booking Taipei Municipal Stadium. The public relations consultant would be responsible for all financial costs, including the deposit required to confirm the stadium booking. CTFA had already booked the stadium for the date of 27 July and had informed the consultant to pay the deposit. However, up till now, the public relation consultant hasn’t yet paid any deposit..

5. According to the agreement made by both sides, this team from the public relations consultancy would need to sign a contract with CTFA as a legal person or a corporation to protect the interests as well as to define the job content for both sides. Up to the present, this team from the public relations consultancy has not come forward to sign the contract or to discuss any further details with CTFA.

6. CTFA receives quite an amount of invitations or requests from various public relations companies or other related companies on co-hosting or brokering international friendly match deals and CTFA is always glad to have opportunities to cooperate with them. However, the terms on the contract must be reasonable and most of all, a sound financial agreement as well as good organisational abilities of the proposing side are seriously taken into consideration by CTFA.

7. CTFA appreciates the interest shown by people from all walks of life and also thanks their participation in the development of football in Taiwan. CTFA hopes that henceforward any criticism given must conform to the facts, so as to be positively beneficial to the development of football in Taiwan.
