把頭髮剪短了，希望這個髮型能讓生活變得更簡單。讓我有更多心力，專注在想做的事情。這幾天，經歷了有點嚴重的疲憊感，我發現了一個很重要的原因： 現在有太多事情同時進行著，光是音樂：練吉他鋼琴、翻唱歌曲、創作錄音製作、學習後製、直播表演、想新歌的宣傳…等。此外，我目前還有線上一對一的英文課、口說課、吉他課。突然從疫情的空蕩生活到這樣子忙碌的生活，真的讓我有點喘不過氣。一件事情沒做好，就會影響到其他事情。 今天突然有個領悟，就是一切要化繁為簡。選擇越多，不代表成果就會越好。應該專注去做同一件事，不要一直在不同的任務中切換。當然做同一件事情累了，換個全新的東西去嘗試也很重要。但如果要不停得去做選擇，真的會面臨所謂「決策癱瘓」。 這陣子，我想就讓生活變得更單純。騰出更多的心力專注在自己最想做的事情上面。此外，也要記得，同一個時間，做同一件事情就好了。不要讓自己去思考過去，或者未來的事。 I had my hair shaved once again. This hairstyle is perfect for summer of course, but what I really want is to have this hairstyle remind me of the importance of keeping everything simple. Decluttering my life, I wanna stay focused on the things that really matter. I just experienced a few days of burnout, and it felt like I’d messed up many things. But I’ve found something that plays an important role in this. Many things are going on simultaneously now. When it comes to music, I’m practicing the guitar and the piano, covering songs, creating new songs, learning post-production skills, having livestream performances, planning promotions for my new song, so on and so forth. Plus, I’m running online 1-1 Mandarin and guitar classes. My life went from lockdown emptiness to sudden hecticness, which is a bit overwhelming. Once something isn’t done properly, it’ll adversely affect everything else. Here’s what dawned on me today: I should keep my life as simple as possible. (Sounds like minimalism, huh? Exactly, it is!) Having more choices doesn’t necessarily guarantee a better outcome. I should stay focused on one thing at a time instead of constantly switching among different things. Of course, we know the importance of trying new things, especially during a burnout. However, it’s equally important to just stick to one thing. A term perfectly defines what I am saying: decision paralysis. We don’t have the mental capacity to make decisions all the time. Therefore, keeping our lives as simple as possible can leave more room in our brains for things that really matter. And this is exactly what’s guiding me now, and hopefully, it’ll lead me to a better place where I’ll feel more energized and motivated to do the things I love. #minimalism #極簡主義 #fitness #平頭 #fitnessaddict
