Hate crimes have increased over the past year, especially against the Asian community. I know hate will always be around, but just remember love will always be more powerful.

Everyone knows I normally stick to making you hungry with posting food content. What you don't know is that I have been getting hundreds of hate messages, death threats, etc. All you can do is block them and move on with your life.

I find it interesting that if I voice my opinion on anything unrelated to food I would then receive these hateful messages. "Stick to food you *****!" etc.

Innocent Asian people, particularly elderly Asian people, have been randomly attacked, robbed, beaten unconscious and even murdered. It angers and saddens me that there are evil people out there who are willing to do these hate crimes to kind people, whole heartedly people who would give you food and care if you were to just ask. Yet you beat them?

Like the majority of other Asian families, I know my parents would give you their time, a helping hand, whatever you need...to have a better day.

The reason Asians are usually quiet is because we are raised in a very, very strict way.

But remember this, you can corner a scared person or animal in a corner thinking you have the upper hand because you are causing pain, however, like a fire the more you feed oxygen and gasoline it will eventually blow up in your face.

I am grateful to have a following for my food, but I would be more grateful if my followers spread the word about what's going on in this world. Be aware, be kind, but prepared and stay hungry. #stopasianhate #hateisavirus ❤️

Staying negative has become a priority in our society now, you want and are hoping for a negative result to stay positive, especially when you have to get tested in a pandemic. We start to see things clearly when we slow down. Ironically, we love staying home but when we are told to do so, why do we hate it? Why do we feel like we’re being caged up? Because we don’t have freedom? Is it really? You can do so much for yourself and for others, by just staying home. People, we are people’s people. So care. Have the decency to care. Half-heartedly wearing a mask or anything at all for the sake of it or using it as a weapon to be free? Do you even care about the prospects? To wear it correctly and dispose of it properly. We want to stay negative from COVID-19, our actions reflect our results. We should always be allowed to speak up and express when we truly need to. Our movements reflect our emotions. We are speaking from the language of our souls that are portraying emotions and sending a message that we hope will reach others, our people.
