228連假結束, 希望大家都有充電滿滿來面對新的一週. 本月份我們將介紹1960年代為非裔美國人音樂開啓嶄新市場的重要唱片公司--Motown Records(摩城唱片). 摩城唱片有許多鼎鼎大名的劃時代音樂人, 如: Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, The Temptations, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops等. 光提到這些名字相信大家一定好奇Motown到底是一個怎麼樣的唱片公司, 他們又是如何崛起的呢？ 我們將從Motwon的創辦人Berry Gordy的故事講起, 帶大家一窺摩城唱片從如何成立到大紅大紫的傳奇故事.

I’ve been hearing about how convenient and close JB is to Singapore since I first arrived so of course I needed to check it out! Big thanks to Hazel and Zippy for being our tour guides on my first trip to Johor Bahru. They’re seriously pros when it comes to finding cool, hipster spots.
