It has been SUCH A LONG WAIT, but the waiting is worth it! The popup has been postponed a few times and even the menu has changed! You know I am definitely a fans of arbor and this time it’s the 4 hands collab @eric.raty x @ho_la_ho_sik , how can I NOT BE THERE???!!! If you have been to Arbor with me, you know I normally order two baskets of 🍞brioche coz the butter is just SOO addictive!! This time they have white miso & Parmesan butter; Tai-O Shrimp paste butter. I can’t choose which one i like more, I just can’t LOL. My fav dish would probably be the mantis shrimp + hairy crabs 🦀chawanmushi topped with Alba white truffle. The red thing on top was the goji berry and they sprayed shaoxing wine over it to enhance the flavour. It’s foamy and everything goes well together. I also like the 🐥Chicken pie with the crispy chicken skin on top. Inside was chicken liver mousse, fermented bell pepper, enoki reduction etc. Every 🤤bite was just HEAVENLY. The Mui Wo dish is also interesting - where @eric.raty went all the way to Mui Wo to collect sea pineapples to make this sorbet to pair with @carbonbrews local beer. Sad that wagyu sando wasn’t on the menu this time but another HLHS signature cup noodles was on! A bit like Dan Dan noods, it’s homemade 🍜noods with Eric’s signature XO sauce, peanut paste, ikura and uni. So much I wanna talk about about this meal but I’m lazy so let the 📷photos do the talking lol. Oops and the popup is over but i think something else is brewing... STAY TUNED.
