El año pasado, ella probó que había entrado a una nueva fase después del lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum, anima; había estado profundamente involucrada en la producción del álbum y sus innovadoras obras musicales. En 2021, ella actuó en vivo con una banda de músicos enérgicos incluyendo a Shohei Amimori, el cual ella transmitió al mundo. En junio de ese año, lanzó un nuevo EP en varias plataformas de streaming a través de su sello independiente, y no ha dejado de moverse y compartir música, aún frente a la pandemia de coronavirus.     Seit ihrem Major-Label Debüt im Jahr 2015, hat sich Daoko als Künstlerin mit einer einzigartigen Präsenz und musikalischen Sensibilität entwickelt. Letztes Jahr hat sie mit der Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums anima bewiesen, dass sie in eine neue Phase eingetreten ist; sie war maßgeblich an der Produktion des Albums und dessen innovativen musikalischen Werke beteiligt. Im Jahr 2021 trat sie live mit einer Band aus temperamentvollen Musikern auf, darunter Shohei Amimori, das sie in die ganze Welt gestreamt hat. Im Juni dieses Jahres veröffentlichte sie über ihr unabhängiges Label eine neue EP auf verschiedenen Streaming-Plattformen und sie hat nie aufgehört sich zu bewegen und Musik zu verbreitzen, selbst im Angesicht der Coronavirus-Pandemie.
