Our great great great grandfather Balang Nganud was a great warrior, they called him ‘the Tiger that floats enemies’ heads downriver’. Today our battles are different, and though we no longer practice that anymore, we inherited the richness of their spirit, their courage, their strength; and more over, the courage to fight together for something greater than ourselves.

曾經大宅商戶林立的大稻埕沿岸風華一時，其中貴德街更是當時更是全台北市最炙手可熱的住宅地段，連美國與德國領事館都設於此。然而在五零、六零年代財富轉移，豪宅凋敝，同時環河路的建設也破壞了數座宅邸 ，貴德街保有多數該時期的建築，然而保存較為完善的建築多在迪化街一帶。我實地走訪，並根據歷史照片繪製本畫作，特別感謝曾祖父建造了多座宅邸的李先生向我展示其珍貴蒐藏。

The riverside at Dadaocheng used to be a grand place, with numerous mansions and merchant buildings. Guide Street was the most desirable place in the city to live at that time and the American and German embassies were established there. However many large homes were lost when fortunes changed during the 1950's and 60's. The construction of Huanhe Road destroyed a few others. Now just a little from that era remains, mostly along Guide Street. Nearby Dihua Street was better preserved. I created this drawing out of photos from that era and a walk in the area. Special thanks to Mr Li, whose great-grandfather built a number of the mansions, for letting me see his collection, and to Willie for helping locate things!

Nasi Ayam KFC ni sebenarnya dah lama viral di Japan dan dah ramai Youtuber dah cuba buat. So kali ni aku ambil peluang untuk cuba try test masak Nasi Ayam KFC tapi dengan resepi yang telah diolah mengikut selera aku. Nak tahu resepinya?

Bahan - bahan :

1. Beras - 3 cups
2. Air - 3 cups
3. Kicap Masin - 3 tbsp
4. Pati kiub ayam - 1/2 kiub
5. Oregano - 1 tbsp
6. Black pepper - 1 tbsp

Cara- Cara :

1. Basuh beras terlebih dahulu sehingga bersih. Toskan airnya.
2. Masukkan beras ke dalam periuk nasi kemudian campurkan dengan air.
3. Campurkan Kicap, kiub ayam, oregano dan black pepper ke dalam periuk nasi.
4. Gaulkan sebati bahan tadi.
5. Masukkan ayam goreng KFC ke dalam periuk nasi.
6. Masak nasi tersebut seperti biasa menggunakan rice cooker.
7. Siap. Hancurkan ayam tadi bersama nasi yang telah masak.
8. Boleh hidang kepada suami dan anak-anak atau cucu cicit atau pakcik makcik atok nenek great grandmother great grandfather :D
