【香港鐵路大縮水秘史】#永續港鐵霸權 #7月專研

明顯見到地鐵計劃嘅鐵路早期系統，到後尾實施嘅時候變成縮水版嘅「修正早期系統」(modified initial system)，當中出現過一段少為人知鐵路縮水嘅秘史。石油危機令到負責鐵路早期系統嘅日資財團「突發」退出，港英政府更曾經與日資財團爭執，要追討退場所導致嘅鐵路超支及延遲上至億計嘅損失，但有趣的是，財團表明只可向港英支付港幣5百萬出於善意嘅「補償」(offered a nominal ex gratia payment of ¥300 million, equivalent to about HK$5 million)，呢個明顯唔足夠(inadequate)嘅賠償當然俾港英拒絕，而港英與日資財團嘅爭議後續就暫不可考。

為應對財團退場所引起嘅財政問題，港英推動嘅「修正早期系統」除咗鐵路規模大縮水外，原來窮到連車站都要縮水，推遲興建好多個車站出入口，鑽石山站當年更被設計得「簡陋」咗(cheaper version of Diamond Hill Station)，要推遲落成未來接駁東九龍綫（現時沙中綫）嘅站內地下通道，更估唔到喺四十年前已經諗好咗要起東九龍線（現時沙中綫）拖到今日。除了節省鐵路開支，上蓋物業發展嘅可觀收入亦順應成為鐵路財路緊急儲備，今時今日嘅有「半個地產商」之稱嘅港鐵曾經亦有過一段財政緊縮嘅歷史時期。

去年圣诞节时Al Rocco去了纽约，在那里他与大师级制作人Alexie Gratia和Mides Touch一同制作了2017年三月发行的最新EP《Terracotta 兵马俑》。
