I originally planned to talk about why I like my job and the positive factors of the industry, but I got a bit sidetracked lol
Asian diaspora is something that's very close to my heart and a topic that my friends and I have constantly discussed between ourselves for years. I think many of us have underlying, unresolved feelings - be it positive or negative - regarding our childhood and parents despite it not being a popular topic in mainstream media.
I hope it doesn't seem like I'm "airing out my (family's) laundry" or so by posting this; I just wish to share with my fellow first gens and Asians that your hardship and feelings are perfectly valid as personally, I felt that a lot of my teenage years were full of undirected anger.
Let me know if there's anything else model or culturally related that you want me to talk about!

2020-07-29 15:36:37中國過去30年來的加工型貿易和逆向技術開發，基本上是依靠中西部的小粉紅地區提供的人力資源實現的。小粉紅的的階級來源，是中國傳統的小農階級，有著深刻的小農劣根性。在未來的中國，小粉紅基層的結局很可能是流落到江湖化的社會當中，自生自滅。而不是小粉紅的族群對待小粉紅的最佳態度是：無視和隔離。

China's processing trade and reverse technology development in the past 30 years has basically been achieved by relying on the human resources provided by the Little Pink areas in the central and western regions. The cultural background of these Little Pinks is orignated from the traditional Chinese small peasant class, which has deep roots of small peasant inferiority. In the future, the end of the Little Pink grassroots is likely to be living in a dilapidated society to fend for themselves. For outsiders, the best attitude towards these Little Pinks is to ignore and isolate them.

除了上次的台日關係是兄弟，他再次提到兩國是命運共同體。如果上次兩國執政黨外交國防政策交流會，是重要的第一步，那接下來的第二步、每一步，都是加深關係的重要過程。

Today I was honored to speak at an event co-hosted by the Institute for National Policy Research, Taiwan NextGen Foundation and the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, the #Taiwan-#Japan-#China Triangular Relationship Panel, where I discussed recent breakthroughs in Taiwan-Japan relations. The dialogue was attended virtually by Japan’s Deputy Minister of Defense Nakayama Yasuhide (中山泰秀).
The people of Japan and Taiwan have shared a friendship for many decades. The past year, however, has seen a significant development in the character of our friendship. From grassroots campaigns to support our economy, and efforts from Taiwanese businesses to support Japan’s industry — to new dialogues between elected officials, we are planting a flag and claiming space for this friendship to grow further.
How would I describe this relationship in a sentence?
Rock solid.

林昶佐委員出身台北城中區（現中正區）在90年代，用「Freddy」擔任閃靈樂團主唱，其中，融合台灣歷史記憶、文化啟蒙還有本土音樂元素的創作屢獲國內外大獎；在音樂生涯之外，林委員投身圖博人權、台灣主體性、性別平權、廢除死刑還有各項民主運動不遺餘力，已是青壯一代草根民主（Grassroots Democracy）運動的代表性參與者。
