▰　純白優雅的山梅花（Mock Orange），在露伊絲‧葛綠珂的詩作〈Aubade〉（晨歌）中，伴隨著薄荷、玫瑰、茉莉、百合，在夜晚的風中香氣漫溢，在過去式的語言裡，懷想與情人度過的無數冬夏，感慨時間流轉，於黎明中緩緩醒來；而在〈Mock Orange〉月光下的白色山梅，香氣，卻成了詩人對親密關係的一種厭棄與疲倦。​

寫下《沒有人是一座孤島》的十六世紀英國詩人John Donne，在詩作〈The Good-Morrow〉中，他的晨歌是一種對愛戀純粹的歡欣，沒有對時間的憂懼，有別於露伊絲在〈Aubade〉隱含著不安的隨想，​展現了截然不同的晨歌景致與心境。
