@kubybeauty sent their new range of Liquid Gleam Lip Vinyls my way a couple of weeks back and here's me trying on all 7 shades! To me, it's a high pigment lipgloss without any sort of shimmer. It applies like a thick gloss (but not gloopy at all) and when you blot it, you'll be left with a slight tint and very moisturised lips! 😍 Defo able to wear this on its own or on top of a lipstick. The only thing better than gluttonous indulgence is guilt-free indulgence! The viral Avobar from London has made its (multiple) rounds on social media and has finally graced Hong Kong with its presence inside the new and gorgeous K11. Utilising the much-adored avocado, the dishes here are not only a treat to the eyes but most of them are vegetarian and can be made vegan and/or gluten free! For example, the burger 'buns' here are actually made with avocado halves sandwiching lobster pieces in a zesty mango sauce. Hipsters rejoice, for your basic avocado toast , which has become way too mainstream, is deconstructed into avocado mash, avocado slices, soft boiled eggs and toast on the side with little mounds of salt and chilli flakes to season to your liking. As a low-key brownie connaisseur (yass that fudge please), I was impressed by how the vegan avocado brownie mimicked that sticky, gloopy consistency that I love in this normally calorie-laden treat. Last day in Taipei, Shilin market finds: Kaohsiung meatball. A little strange in a herbal medicine like thick soup, gloopy mochi stuffed with pork mince inside. Top with chilli sauce, garlic foam and coriander. This is probably the strangest thing I've eaten so far!
