Today’s date night destination was @greenwoodfishmarket at Greenwood Avenue. It’s been awhile since a fancy night out, so I was all ready to splash out on a good meal. Service was a real mixed bag here. It was a massively chaotic dinner time service. Understandably the restaurant was full now that every vaccinated person (myself included) is out dining in full swing. That said, it didn’t seem unmanageable to be honest. It took about 10 minutes for us to get menus after we were pointed to our seats. Even more wait time till we placed our order. We didn’t get served water until our first starter and soup came. It was like 🌪100% chaotic energy🌪! The glasses came without the carafe. The carafe never came till the food did, so it was masks on for at least 10 - 15 minutes as we waited for our food. Credit where it’s due, the staff were nice folks, and when we did get any attention, towards the later part of dinner service it was very warm and good. There was so much movement of staff walking up and down, but it just felt our table was kind of like in an area that was just constantly overlooked. Perhaps, they were mostly focused on serving the regulars from the posh neighbourhood. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The food, however, was really good. Picked from the fresh catches of the day and had my red snapper chargrilled. The fish was firm and fresh. The pan fried crab cake (not shown) was so sweet and tasty. The Aglio Olio (with the god damn amazing clam reduction) was so delicious. So much umami. Also, the starter of the day was a serving of grilled artichokes with burrata cheese and I don’t regret having that over a dessert. ❤️ Would I come back again? Probably not. It wasn’t a bad meal, but to see the couple after us being served so attentively while we struggled to get service initially left a bad taste that even the great food couldn’t overcome. It’s super not my usual modus operandi to “complain”. No hard feelings as well. I’m just exercising sharing how I truly feel about things and this is just part of that. Anyone has good recommendations for future date nights? I’m making a list. Please share your faves and suggestions!

Tp apa yg make me lose my head this time,when they said,kita dh tk boleh buat apa2 so u kena byr jugak puan,walau puan tk pakai.. Haaaaaaaaaaaa my foot!! Cantik muka hg,dh kt setahun aku dok byq instead of try to fix this problem,hg suruh byq?? Ampa ingat duit turun dari langit ka?? So @celcom u just lost 1 of ur customer,and is very fishy mcm mana this scammers boleh tau no. and charge terus masuk dlm bill.. unless klu org dlm celcom sendiri buat kerja ni.. . The other reason why i post this is because nk habaq klu ampa ada terasa nk pakai celcom,pikiaq lah 800 kali,tk semua org kena,klu nasib tk baik mmg kena.. bukan murah beratus.. kecuali klu ampa nk buat amal jariah kt celcom,suka hati ampa lah.. so dont even try to get service from celcom,for those yg kena elok tukaq lah ke line yg lain.. Biaq coverage tk baguih sgt,drp hidden charges yg untung ke depa,yg rakyat marhean ni dok kena byq paihtu tk byq ampa blacklist.. .
