I was lucky as it was held in Athens, the birth place of Olympics. It was like no other tournaments I entered before. I realised it’s no longer about me, but 30 million Malaysians back home. The euphoria, indescribable. No I didn’t get to face top seed Lin Dan. He lost in the first round. I couldn’t get past Cheng Hong in the second round.
