MALIA OBAMA LÀM BIÊN KỊCH CHO PHIM TRUYỀN HÌNH MỚI CỦA AMAZON

Malia Obama sẽ tiếp bước cha mẹ mình, nhưng không phải ở lĩnh vực chính trị, mà là sản xuất phim truyền hình. Trước đó, vào năm 2019, Cựu Tổng thống Mỹ Barack Obama và Cựu Đệ nhất Phu nhân Michelle Obama quyết định tham gia làm phim với bản hợp đồng dài hạn với Netflix trị giá 65 triệu USD.

Trong khi đó, mới đây, Malia được thông báo sẽ trở thành biên kịch cho phim truyền hình mới của Amazon Prime. Loạt phim mang tiêu đề Hive sẽ được sản xuất bởi rapper, diễn viên, đạo diễn Donald Glover, tập trung khai thác “hình tượng nhân vật giống như ca sĩ Beyoncé” và được lấy cảm hứng trực tiếp từ biên kịch Janine Nabers của loạt phim Watchmen. Hiện tại, phía Amazon vẫn chưa công bố thêm thông tin về Hive.

Đây không phải lần đầu tiên Malia Obama tiếp xúc với thế giới phim ảnh. Trước đây, cô từng làm thực tập sinh trường quay ở phim truyền hình Girls của HBO và giữ vị trí tương tự ở xưởng phim của Harvey Weinstein.

Cô cũng không phải là con của chính trị gia nổi tiếng đầu tiên viết kịch bản truyền hình. Kristin Gore, con gái của Cựu Phó Tổng thống Al Gore, là biên kịch của loạt phim hoạt hình Futurama. Trong khi đó, Patti Davis, con gái của Ronald Reagan, đã từng chắp bút cho phim Sacrifices of the Heart được phát sóng trên kênh Hallmark.
