(Well, my friends at least) 📔Just Enough by Laura & Howard Stevenson • I’m not gonna lie, this book took me a little longer to get through, but again, I like the topic of happiness and fulfillment so I gave it a read. I was able to rethink how I viewed success in my life, and feel more content with where I am in life. Not only that, but the great thing was this book even gave you ideas and exercises to evaluate your different areas of success and measure it more visibly. 📙The Iceman by Anthony Bruno •Everyone knows I’m fascinated by murder. I watch way too many murder docuseries in my free time... Thats also why I studied a bit of forensics in University, but this follows the life of a hitman known as the Ice Man. I believe there’s also a movie on this now, but I haven’t seen it. And if you were wondering, yes it does describe some of the murders he did in detail and it’s actually really interesting and creative. If you’re into reading about that kinda thing... Cuz I am👀

【@businessfocus.io】Deep Fake技術假影片有辦法被破解！心跳血流微弱變化可分辨真偽 . 英國倫敦大學學院（University College London，UCL）早前發表的一份報告顯示，未來 15 年 AI 人工智慧可能會用各種不同方式協助犯罪分子犯案。其中，深度造假（Deepfake）對遵守法紀的公民和社會造成了最大的威脅，不少人為此而感到恐慌。近日，IEEE PAMI 《模式分析與機器智能彙刊》上有篇論文指出，有項方法能夠準確辨識DeepFake影片，這個方法是透過心跳血流產生的微弱變化辨識出真假臉。 . 透過心跳血流產生的微弱變化，辨識假臉也不是完全沒道理。因為血管遍佈人體各個區域包括臉頰。任何時候，任何地點，臉部血液流動都會造成輕微跳動感，造成人體皮膚出現區域性的顏色變化。這類變化稱為光體積變化描記圖法（Photoplethysmography，PPG），常見的脈搏血氧儀，其實就是辨識這種變化。 . 這項方法的準確度雖然引起了不少人的質疑，然而，Apple Watch 和一大堆血氧儀都採用這種方法，它的準確率和心電圖基本吻合。在這篇新論文裡，提出了心跳所投射出的皮膚顏色變化也同樣會出現在人臉上。只是，一般肉眼都很難看見這極其微弱的變化，而利用DeepFake在影片裡做「手腳」就更難被發現了。所以，該論文表示僅需對影片進行特定處理，增強顏色變化的效果，肉眼就可以很明顯地觀察出真假臉的區分。這是因為目前的DeepFake無法還原這種因血液流動造成的微弱變化。 . 三位分別來自紐約州立大學賓漢頓分校和英特爾（Intel，NASDAQ: INTC）公司的研究人員表示，無論是在空間維度（臉部區域）還是時間維度（心跳頻率）上， DeepFake 的假人臉都無法還原這種因血液流動造成的微弱變化。此外，研究人員也發現，DeepFake 的假人臉，讀取到的 PPG 信號是不穩定的。換句話說，DeepFake 演算法生成的影片，產生的 PPG 信號都有很多雜訊；真實影片的雜訊卻很少。 . 對此，研究人員設計了一套基於卷積神經網路的模型，命名為 FakeCatcher。相較於Face Forensics++、CelebDF 等常用的假臉數據集上，FakeCatcher 的準確率能夠超過 90%。 不僅如此，FakeCatcher還能夠準確辨識出假影片用的是哪種 DeepFake，在 DeepFakes、Face2Face、FaceSwap 和 NeuralTex 四種主流演算法上的辨識準確率整體超過了 93%。由此以來，DeepFake有了辨識的突破口，之後無需再擔心懷有不良動機的人利用DeepFake去犯案。 .
