大型草食動物身上常會巴著鳥類，不管是吃牛車車上面的蟲或是跟著車車覓食（當然還有偷咬車車的小壞蛋）。有很少見的例子是兩生類集體上車的，這是在土耳其的湖側褶蛙 (Pelophylax ridibundus) 巴在水牛 (Bubalus bubalis) 身上吃蒼蠅的觀察⊂(°Д°⊂⌒

昨天的線上課程Q&A的部分，有朋友提問到Contrafreeloading(CFL)這個詞。這個詞是由動物心理學家Glen Jensen在1963年提出來的。CFL從字面上看，就是反對坐享其成，或是不願不勞而獲，簡單講就是「自食其力」的意思。
Glen Jensen透過實驗發現，大鼠比起直接吃碗裡的食物，更喜歡透過特定的方式獲取食物。在後續的研究裡面，也發現在許多動物都有類似的情況，例如狗、黑猩猩、猴子、小鼠、鳥類等，在對於獲取食物這些事情，也都偏好付出勞力以獲取報酬。
而在這麼多動物裡面，唯有我們的貓皇例外。研究發現，在可以選擇的情況下，貓偏愛不勞而獲，寧願被伺候也不想自食其力（註）。
當然啦，說這個我不是要打嘴巴，反對我一直在提倡讓貓在家裡尋食(foraging)這件事情。畢竟貓雖然喜歡不勞而獲，但後續針對貓的慢性焦慮研究，也提出了因為人類長期的餵養，讓貓終日無所事事，缺乏覓食跟狩獵行為而引發負面行為問題。你看看，這個機車程度是不是大家都不意外？
所以說，透過逐漸調整餐盤內食物的份量，跟餵食的時間點，才能成為有效建立尋食計劃，成功讓貓去做一點事情換取食物。不然我們的貓皇寧願餓到吐，也不願付出一點勞力，這樣對嗎？（對）
