🌳 Rainforest Layer Cake 🌳
Created this simple small world rainforest setup for JulianaKatrice to celebrate World’s Rainforest Day.
I used cardboards, tp rolls and all placed the animals on their respective layers.
This is our first time to have a rainforest- themed play and The key take away from this play are the Rainforest Layer ⤵️
4️⃣ Emergent Layer - consists of tallest treetops
3️⃣ Canopy - contains leaves, branches flowers, ferns, bright and sunny
2️⃣ Understory - filled with shrugs, small trees, thick’s vines
1️⃣ Forest Floor - covered with roots, fallen leaves, Low-growing plants, shady as it blocks the sunlight

New year, new playroom! You can tell that we are focusing on fewer, higher quality toys, each with a purpose, made from mostly natural materials, that can grow along with Asher.
.
Hence, most of Asher’s toys are from Bueno Blocks, and they have the best selection of open-ended toys (such as @grimmswoodentoys, @flockmen, @tictoys and etc)! Open-ended toys are those that can be played in a variety of ways depending on the children and their imagination. They foster play, creativity, and imagination. You can use code KBCG15 for RM15 off for purchase above RM100, except for preorder items.
Here are some tips on creating a fun and organised playroom:
1. Keep things off the floor by having a good shelving unit.
1. Rotate toys. Take a bin and put some of the “not-played-with” toys away, reintroduce in another few weeks and you toddler will get excited when you pulled out these toys.
3. Rotate books too.
4. Accessibility. Sit down on the floor and look around the playroom from your child’s perspective. Make sure things are accessible to them.
5. Easy to clean flooring. We put a easy to wipe playmat and all the activities centred around the mat.
