🥩 [beef] - 🔸 Beef Chuck Flap, Fillet & Sliced Beef Set $228 🔹 Pork Loin Set $138 🔸 Hot Japanese Roasted Tea $28 - Hailing from Japan, the widely popular @kyotokatsugyu.hk opened its first store in Hong Kong 🇭🇰this February and we finally got to try their signature gyukatsu on our second attempt here 👏🏻 [ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ ɢʏᴜᴋᴀᴛꜱᴜ?] With a breaded crust on the outside and medium rare meat inside, it's no wonder why gyukatsu has taken Japan and the rest of the world by storm in recent years 🌍 [ʙᴇᴇꜰ ᴄʜᴜᴄᴋ ꜰʟᴀᴘ, ꜰɪʟʟᴇᴛ & ꜱʟɪᴄᴇᴅ ʙᴇᴇꜰ ꜱᴇᴛ] It only made sense for us to order their signature set, which came with (re-fillable) miso soup, shredded lettuce , preserved vegetables and rice 🍚 There were three cuts of beef: lean tenderloin, fatty chuck flap and sliced beef that was more well done that the other two 🤔 Out of all the condiments (wasabi soy, salt and pepper, worcester and curry), we preferred salt and pepper the most as it gave a distinctive savory flavor without overpowering the beefy taste 🧂 [ᴘᴏʀᴋ ʟᴏɪɴ ꜱᴇᴛ] This set came with thick sosu, sesame that you could ground yourself with the mortar and pestle, and a wedge of lemon 🍋 that provided a refreshing contrast to the rich crispy pork 🐷The meat had a perfect tenderness and juiciness to it that made us craving for more although we were pretty stuffed after gobbling everything greedily [ʜᴏᴛ ᴊᴀᴘᴀɴᴇꜱᴇ ʀᴏᴀꜱᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴇᴀ] We ordered hot tea to cleanse the palate and reset our taste buds before trying different toppings 🫖 Quite surprised that it came in a teapot so we could adjust the desired strength of the tea accordingly, but the taste was more on the mild side anyways - 📍 Kyoto Katsugyu Shop B01, B/F, Tower 535, 535 Jaffe Road, Causeway Bay (MTR exit D4) - #littlemisspicky_japanese #littlemisspickyinCWB

Adding some new makeup products to my fall collection @rarebeauty Blot & Glow Touch-Up Kit This becomes one of my must-have items in my bag. It is a 2-in-1 compact that includes the blotting paper and powder-filled puff. The radiant powder is very fine. It helps to minimize pores and gives me a soft blur texture. It is just too handy to use to refresh in the middle of the day. It is also fillable which I think it is very sweet. Liquid Touch Foundation Brush I am now obsessed with this marquis brush. It is the best foundation brush I have used so far. It is made of vegan fiber and it is super soft. The densely packed bristles are super soft and will not create those hard strokes with my foundation. I have tried with different brand foundations, and work so well. Liquid Touch Concealer Brush I actually bought the concealer brush first and already fall in love with it. The unique shape does help a lot when applying under the eyes. The bristles are super soft, which I can easily smooth out any products on my face. I highly recommend their brushes. Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer This is a pretty lightweight concealer that gives me full coverage. I like to use it on my dark spot and blend with the concealer brush. It does blend out super smooth without cakey. Soft Pinch Liquid Blush I am usually a non-liquid blush person, but this lightweight liquid blush is super easy to blend on my cheek.
