Most often I learn from a distance as an observer, you could say, the fence-sitter. I feel grounded when i’m high up with a helicopter view of all angles & perspectives - I baffle myself with daily contradictions, I’m always a ‘neither nor’. But perhaps a balanced perspective of life is just what we need to stay grounded while yet, not bypassing the raw, real, and messy aspects of self. It is me, that understanding life, or the ‘happiness’ of it somewhat gives me control, the meaning of life. But it is also me, knowing it is a gruelling journey in learning that life must be lived and not analysed. In this yet again a paradoxical loop, i’m most proud that I’ve came to realised the one thing I did right - that I’ve always been in search of my true self. It brought me to where I am today - and I’m happy, I wanted nothing, needed nothing, everything else is a gift. I realise what a tremendous blessing just being able to proclaim that . Phil 4:10-12 // But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need
