【My Latest Publication with Sir Michael Marmot on the Long Life Expectancy of Hong Kong】
Hong Kong has led the world in life expectancy since 2010 and has seen a steady increase in life expectancy for both men and women over the past half century. My latest NAM Perspectives commentary with Sir Michael Marmot asks why this number has risen so steadily, and whether there is anything that can be learned from the Hong Kong experience that can be extrapolated to the world at large.

The complex web of factors that has led to the long life span of those who live in Hong Kong is not easily untangled, but lessons can be learned and these data should be examined more closely to inform efforts toward healthy longevity worldwide: https://doi.org/10.31478/202001d
