肯尼亞第一大報Daily Nation昨日的頭條標題是"Kenyans in China, rescue us from hell"。

我第一眼還看錯了，以為是"Kenyans: China, rescue us from hell"（最近俾CHO譚得塞洗了腦），原來剛剛相反，報導是指蝸居於中國的肯尼亞人在疫情中受盡歧視，希望逃離「地獄」。

如果有藍絲傳啲非洲人講普通話感謝中國的片，記住傳番以下Daily Nation的社論回敬：

"Kenya and the rest of Africa feel deeply betrayed by China.

"After standing together with the Asian country at its hour of need, when the coronavirus ravaged and caused it massive devastation, it is extremely shocking that Chinese people have now turned against Africans in their midst, evicting them from their rented homes and prohibiting them from shopping or going to public places.

"Africans are subjected to online abuse and bullying and negatively profiled, with the call they be deported.

"This is the height of treachery and defies social relations and human rights, let alone international protocols. It is racist and objectionable."

“Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭4:8-9‬ ‭WEB)

Besides evicting fears and worries from your heart through prayer and thanksgiving, your heart has to be filled with something: God’s word—especially about Jesus and His finished work at the cross.

Paul is taking about meditating. When you consciously keep God’s word in your heart and in your mind, it will transform you as you believe it and you’ll be able to produce good fruits (good works, Grace-filled speech and godly character).

God has many titles. For this context, Paul reveals Him as the God of Peace.
In Judges 6:23-24, Yahweh (the pre-incarnate Jesus) revealed Himself to Gideon as Yahweh Shalom (in English: The Lord is Peace).
When Melchizedek (he’s most likely the pre-incarnate Jesus) appeared to Abraham, He was called the King of Salem (comes from the Hebrew word shalom which means peace). Jesus is the King of Peace (Genesis 14:18).

If you need peace, don’t seek it by worldly means—they don’t give true, lasting relief. Just receive perfect peace from Jesus.
