SEMI預測,2015年拋光矽晶圓(polished silicon wafers)與外延矽晶圓(epitaxial silicon wafer)出貨量將達10,042百萬平方英吋;2016年為10,179百萬平方英吋,而2017年則上看10,459百萬平方英吋。

Abstract:
Novel wireless power transfer technology which is based on electromagnetic resonant coupling is proposed in year 2007. It is a breakthrough as power can be transferred with over 90 % efficiency across 1 m gap compared to conventional wireless power technology which can only transfer across few centimeter gap. Currently this technology is in research and development stage. Therefore, many researchers are interested in this electromagnetic resonant coupling technology.
In this lecture, I will introduce general wireless power technology and move into details of electromagnetic resonant coupling, in point of view of a researcher in this field. I will also introduce the trend of wireless power technology in Japan.
Bio:
Takehiro Imura received the B.S. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2005, and the M.S. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Since 2010, he has been with the Department of Advanced Energy, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo, as a Research Associate. He is currently researching on the wireless power transfer for electric vehicles using electromagnetic resonant couplings.
