🇷🇺A vote on changes to Russia’s constitution that could potentially allow President Vladimir Putin to maintain his grip on power for years to come will be held on July 1, allaying questions over the fate of the poll after it was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
俄羅斯將於7月1日舉行關於修憲的投票，這可能會讓總統普京在未來數年內持續權掌，並緩解了因新冠病毒疫情而推遲的投票命運之疑慮。

📖The proposed changes amount to a broad overhaul of the balance of power in Russia, handing the prime minister and parliament nominally more power. The amendments would limit the power of a potential successor to Mr. Putin and enshrine the State Council—an advisory body which the Russian president already heads—in the constitution as a tool of Russia’s executive branch.

光明在一块土地，這块土地必定聲名遠播。這块土地也因爲有光明，用來發展爲購物商場，也必定車水馬龍、大發利市。光明若落在一個人的身上，這個人必定智慧超羣。因光明故，這個人走到哪裡，都有她他的擁護羣，萬人迷是也。一個人若身有足够的光明，生前百煞不侵，死後入戶天堂。光明之重要與必要，不問而知啊！

明天，農曆九月九日，既是能給於吾等眾生光明、偉大、尊貴、慈悲、超勝的光明之母，南無摩利支天菩薩，斗母元君的聖誕。大家可在中午時段，敬備鮮花水菓，糖菓糕點，在自家壇城，若無就到有供奉此尊菩薩的寺廟，虔誠參拜及供養，懺悔己過，並持祂的聖號，最少二十一遍，然後囘向欲祈求之事，恭敬做禮，拜謝而退。供品建議先持往生短咒，才上供。

When a piece of land has Light on it, this land will definitely become well-known. Because of the Light, as the land gets developed with shopping centres built on it, there will be endless stream of traffic and lots of money will be made.

When the same Light falls onto a person, this person will have outstanding intelligence. Because of the Light, wherever the person goes, he/she will have raving fans, attracing admirers from all over.

If a person has sufficient Light on him, the hundred poisons cannot invade him when he/she is alive and upon death, he/she will gain entry to the Heavens. Such is the importance and necessity of Light!

Tomorrow, the 9th day of the 9th Lunar month, is the holy birthday of Namo Marici Bodhisattva, the Mother of Light, Mother of the Stars of Big Dipper, who is able to give us radiance, nobility, compassion, supremeness. During noon time, we can respectfully make offerings of fresh flowers, fruits, candies and pastries in our home altar.

If you do not worship the deity at home, you can visit temples that enshrine this Bodhisattva to pay your sincere respect, make offering and repent for your wrongs. At the same times, recite the Bodhisattva's name for at least 21 times, and dedicate the prayers to your wishes, before paying your respect again and making an exit. I suggest for you to recite the short Deliverance mantra for 21 times for your offerings, before offering them.

Throwback to my Feb trip to Myanmar where I did a couple of temple hopping.
Of which, I was intrigued by Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an incomplete pagoda in Mandalay which was left unfinished intentionally as the massive construction process has brought unhappiness among the people as well as instability to the country during the time it was building. Mingun Pahtodawgyi was meant to be standing 150 meters high if it was built successful. However, the construction was abandoned after the death of King Bodawpaya, the King who started building it to enshrine a sacred Buddha tooth relic. Standing in front of me is only the bottom third of intended structure but it is already very huge and majectic.

【日光東照宮について】AS Nikko Toshogu
Nikko Toshogu is a Shinto shrine established in 1617 to enshrine Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. Ieyasu was born on December 26, 1542 in Okazaki Castle in Mikawa (present day Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture). After a great deal of hardship from an early age he succeeded in pacifying the country after a turbulent period of conflict and established the Tokugawa shogunate system in 1603. His actions brought order and organization to Japanese society while promoting scholarship and industry. Ieyasu laid the foundation for over 260 years of peace and culture during the Edo Period, greatly contributing to the development of modern Japan.

今天，2018年9月9日，農曆七月三十日，就是隔幾年才能夠見到的「南無大願地藏王菩薩」的聖誕。

吾虔心地告訴妳你們，外面的傳說是不確實的。「南無大願地藏王菩薩」確實是幽冥教主，更是一位大菩薩，所以就會有很多的護法金剛圍繞著祂。祂在地獄境界裡，有祂的淨土，名為「翠微淨土」。

佛經記載，誰祇要在家裡供奉祂，不但沒有魍魎魑魅、鬼怪事情，反而還能夠得到以下這十大功德利益：

如果妳來世不願再做女兒身，瞻禮祂供奉祂就能夠得男兒身。

夜夢平安、氣色顏好、不遇盜賊，等等等。

所以在今天，大家可以先沐浴，可以齋戒就齋戒，在客廳的沙發，或壇城前坐端正合掌，恭唸「南無大願地藏王菩薩」，7、21、49、108、1080遍，越多越好。可迴向給自身、家庭、父母或需要幫助的人，比如在醫院的病人，都會得到很大的加持，而能夠如意圓滿。

祝福大家一切吉祥圓滿。

Today, 9 September 2018, also the 30th day in the 7th Lunar Month, is the Holy Birthday of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Namo Di Zang Wang Pu Sa) which occurs every few years.

Please hear my sincere words that the rumours you heard are unfounded. The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is indeed the Lord of the Netherworld, but also a Great Bodhisattva surrounded by many Dharma Protectors. His Pure Land, named Cui Wei Pure Land, is in the Netherworld

According to the Scriptures, anyone who enshrine the statue of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva at Home will receive protection against malevolent spirits and reap the 10 merits:

If you do not wish to be born as a woman in your next life, you can pay respect and make offerings to His statue.

You enjoy peaceful sleep, good appearance, protection against theft, etc.

Thus everyone can perform this auspicious recitation today. First, please bath yourself and observe vegetarian diet if possible. Seat yourself comfortably on the living room sofa or in front of the altar in straight posture and with your palms together. Recite “Namo Di Zang Wang Pu Sa” 7 times or 21, 49, 108 times. You will reap more merits if you recite a higher number. After the recitation, you may dedicate the merits generated to yourself, your family and parents, or another person who needed help, such as a patient in the hospital. The recipient will receive great empowerment and blessings.
