The road to Expo 2020 Dubai. Question I frequently get asked whenever I talk about or post about Expo 2020 Dubai is why it’s Expo 2020 Dubai and not Expo 2021 Dubai if it’s being held this year in 2021? Well as some of you might have guessed Expo Dubai 2020 originally was supposed to have taken place last year just like the how the Tokyo Olympics 2020 was supposed to have been in 2020 but instead was postponed to this year 2021. All of this was of course of the pandemic that hit the world in early 2020 which was so unexpected and overwhelming that even major events around the world such as the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Expo Dubai 2020 had to be put on hold. Well now the good news is that the Expo 2020 Dubai is well underway and I was excited to be have been invited to the Malaysia Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai test days which was open to selected members of the public. Upon entering the Expo itself, I was told that I could not do any filming inside as the Expo was not yet officially open yet. Regardless, I was super excited to see what the Malaysia Pavilion would look like right in front of me after seen many graphic artists video presentations. And of course in light of the Malaysia Pavilion’s key mote to energise sustainability and a goal of being a net zero carbon pavilion, I decided to use Dubai’s excellent public transportation being the most sustainable mode of transport to the Expo. So for those of you that will have the opportunity to come to the Dubai Expo 2020, don’t forget to pay the Malaysia Pavillion a visit and explore all that it has to offer. Take my word for it use public transport, it’s be fun and Mother nature will thank you for it too.
