Maybe the finger can touch your brows, but the beauty of lashes is beyond words.
Listening to the breeze’s whistle, suddenly, the brows opened like a flower blossoms, I couldn’t count the teardrops streaming down from your lash.
The reflection in the teardrop varied, losing my pace, as you also decided to catch the breeze’s whistle, your breath rapid unexpectedly.
It is my finger that has painted on your brows falsely.
Thus, you removed your hair from the tears, gazing into my pupils, asking, “How fast does the tears drop?”
I stared as your long hair floated with the wind, dust under my feet suddenly became some ebullient smoke.
I asked where we should go, perhaps, we both would never reach the edge of the wind.
Along the road, I picked up a wild flower, held on it, for fear of desolation.
Yet, you grabbed the petals so hard, fragilely they crumbed, and made a bigger noise than the whistle of the wind.
Sigh! Life has no request. I still don’t have the courage to ask, if we shall follow the message of wind together. You tossed the petals away, way farther than the wind could reach. I realized that no words are needed between us, therefore I followed your shadow, rode the winds and broke the waves, followed the ripple’s flow, and the moon shined above a thousand rivers.

Edward Luce tells us the truth: the great power politics is back.

//...But Mr Trump will not reverse America’s relative decline. The chances are he will drastically accelerate it......The US-led international order as we knew it for 70 years is over. The era of great power politics is back. An ebullient Russia, led by the strongman Putin, and an increasingly confident China, led by the strongman Xi Jinping, will deal with a wounded America led by strongman Trump. The long-term trajectory is towards China. But the short-term drama will focus on Mr Trump’s dealings with Mr Putin. How they play out is anybody’s guess. But it will not be pretty. Europe will be the loser. So too will American prestige.//
