Over the passed 10 years, I've tried and tested many things - food, career, hobbies, men, everything 🤣 SWIPE NEXT for some old photos and videos!⁣ ⁣ 🔸 I've ran a lifestyle blog focusing health and wellness⁣ ▫️ I've posted all sorts of video genres on YouTube - singing, DIY kids stuff, mukbang, interviews, vlogs and informational content.⁣ 🔸 I was a henna art vendor.⁣ ▫️ I was a freelance website builder.⁣ 🔸 I was a dropshipping Shopify store owner.⁣ ▫️ I was a social media manager.⁣ 🔸 I was personal branding business coach.⁣ ⁣ I've explored many things over the years and failed in many of them. Mostly, I just decided to give up and move on to the next thing. ⁣ ⁣ Am I proud of giving up so easily? No. ⁣ ⁣ Do I regret doing all of them? Hell no. ⁣ ⁣ I am where I am today because of the experiences that I've accumulated throughout my life and the lessons that I've learned. ⁣ ⁣ And sure, I may have my fair share of mistakes but I'm not afraid to admit them. In fact, I'm proud that I was able to fail and fail again, so that I can get to where I am today. ⁣ ⁣ Heck, for those of you who are still trying to find your passion, STOP LOOKING AND JUST START TRYING NEW THINGS!⁣ ⁣ It is through different experiences that you'll get to know what it is that you like or don't like, or maybe along the way you'll discover what God is actually whispering in your ears to do!⁣ ⁣ "Life is about taking chances, trying new things, having fun, making mistakes and learning from it." - I read this somewhere and I can't agree more.⁣ ⁣ If there's one thing that this pandemic has taught us, is to not take our precious life for granted again. The last thing you want is to regret on your deathbed - about the things that you've not done ☹

I'd like to share a story with you... about 3 years ago when I wanted to start my own side hustle, I started a dropshipping e-commerce store that sells cute socks 🧦⁣ ⁣ I crafted a brand that I really love, but soon realized that the profit margin per pair of socks was way too low to justify the money that I was spending on Facebook ads for marketing. Instead of pivoting my marketing strategies or product offering, I decided to close down the online store after a few months.⁣ ⁣ You see, if I were to be persistent with this brand, I would have looked deeper into other alternatives like bundling my socks to make it a bigger offer so that it has a high margin, or maybe creating a subscription model so that I can have recurring revenue.⁣ ⁣ But no, I chickened out as soon as I noticed that I was losing money 💸⁣ ⁣ Back then, I didn't have the proper mindset needed to be an entrepreneur. I didn't have mentoring or a like-minded community to guide and support me.⁣ ⁣ My biggest problem was that I treated my business as a "project" or "side hustle", instead of treating it as 🔴THE ONLY OPTION🔴 I have to get me out of my circumstances at that time.⁣ ⁣ I wasn't resourceful enough, and definitely did not have the persistence to keep on going...⁣ ⁣ I wanted to share this story with you today because anybody can start a business, but it's the DO-OR-DIE, SUPER RESOURCEFUL spirit that is going to help you succeed in whatever you do.⁣ ⁣ Focus on how you can KEEP YOUR FIRE BURNING 🔥 despite the failure and mistakes that you are going to face in the journey. Tears and stress are inescapable, so figure out how you can cope and push yourself further after those moment. ⁣ ⁣ We're all wired differently so I don't have a true solution for you, but I hope that this story serves as little warning so that you can embrace what's coming up in your journey to reach for your dreams ✨.
