BAKED BEANS BREAD PUDDING
* olive oil
* 1 yellow onion, sliced
* 2 green onions, sliced
* 5-6 pieces beef salami, sliced
* beans from one can of baked beans
* 6-8 pieces of day old bread
* 4 eggs
* 2 cups milk
* 1 cup cream
* salt and black pepper to taste
* all the cheese you want (i use mozzarella and parmesan)

1. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauter the onions till soft. Add in the green onions and salami. Cook till fragrant.
2. Add in the baked beans. Season to taste. leave to cool.
3. In a bowl, whisk eggs milk and cream till mixed through. Season with salt and pepper. Drench day old bread in the mixture and leave to soak for about 5 mins.
4. Mix the soaked bread with the cooked baked bean mixture. Place in a baking dish. Pour excess egg mixture. Springkle with green onions and cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 35-40 mins or until the top is golden brown.

Creamy Salted Egg Yolk Calamari (Squid/Sotong) Recipe 咸蛋奶油苏东
Ingredients:
Serves 4 pax

140g (4.93 oz) calamari - cut into rings
3 salted egg yolk - raw (use egg white of 1 salted egg to marinate the calamari. Steam all egg yolks)
Some cornflour (cornstarch)
30g butter
3 cloves garlic - chopped
2 sprigs of curry leaves (you can use 0.5 tsp of curry powder or dried curry leaves)
3 bird eye chilli - chopped (optional)
300ml (10.14 fl oz) evaporated milk (Carnation milk)
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp sugar
