2021 CNY Day 1

I always tell people how lucky i am to have in-laws that i love!

Deon being part of a very, very close pair of twin, it means 4 of us spend a lot of time together. Not only do i like them, i respect them a lot!

My parents-in-law is incredible! I love their values and beliefs. I LOVE their cooking! Year after year, we eat the same mind-blowing pengcai for Reunion dinner. I will never ever get sick of it! Definitely one of the highlight for me every CNY since marrying into the Woos.

Our nieces... oh, our nieces are so adorable. Honestly since Layla, i have had much time to play w them. But they are still so loving and excited whenever they see me. It's so heart-warming watching how the 2 older jiejies are so protective and doting towards Layla already.

It was such a happy day for Layla! I can look at these photos over and over, and still fall in love with that cheeky, toothless grin of hers. How did i get so lucky to be a mother of such a cute angel.

These 9 pictures sum up my 2018. Family. My family is both my strength & my weakness.
My New Year’s Resolutions are:
1. Ensure that my parents are healthy through regular medical check ups.
2. Take things easy when it comes to working hard for money and always remember the reason for doing so - for family. Which brings me to #3.
3. Spend more time with my family.

We had 2 big losses this year, my dearest Ah Gong in August & doting Kuku Henry on Christmas. May they always remind us that life is fragile and to always love, care and never take family for granted. Let’s do this, 2019! #bestof2018

半年前に購入したファーストシューズのサイズが合わなくなってきたので、新しい靴を購入しました。今回初めてAmazonの「prime wardrobe」を利用してみました。試着してから購入あるいは返品ができるサービスなので、わざわざお店に行って試着するという手間を省くことができました。ゴロちゃんが生まれる前から狙っていたコンバースのスニーカー、パパの分も一緒に注文してみました♪

Goro grew out of her first shoes we got 6 months ago, so we bought new ones. It’s our first time using Amazon’s “prime wardrobe” as well. This service allows you to try on shoes and clothes before you purchase them, or you could easily return them, which conveniently eliminates the hassle of going into a store for a fitting. There were a pair of Converse sneakers we’ve been eyeing even before she was born, and we finally got them together with dad’s♪

ゴロちゃんの入浴グッズとしてマカロンバスを導入しました。最近はスイマーバも卒業し、湯舟で立ち上がって遊ぶことが多く、ちゃんとお湯に浸かってくれなかったのですが、マカロンバスにしたことですんなり解決♪対象年齢が2歳までなので、あと半年だけですが、、、いっぱいお世話になると思います。

Adding to Goro’s bathing goods, we got an inflated Macaron Tub. She graduated from swimava, as she started standing up more and play while showering instead of soaking in the tub, but Macaron Tub to the rescue! The target age is only 2, which gives it only 6 more months, but I’m sure it will be heavily used.

お婆ちゃんから春物の洋服をたくさんいただきました。久しぶりのゴロちゃんファッションショーを開催します。前回はよちよち歩きだったのですが、今回はほぼダッシュでランウェイ・・・(笑)。ストライダーに乗ることが多くなるため、今回はすべてパンツスタイルになっています♪

Grandma gave Goro-chan a lot of spring clothes. This means it’s time for Goro-chan fashion show! Although she could barely walk last time, this time she ran through the runway lol. Because she rides her strider bike often, grandma gave her many pants ♪
