I cried from anxiety after moving to HK, but 3 years later and I’m so DOGgone happy I gave it a FRY 🌭🍟 especially with @crosbythedood by my side at the awesome @hooman.cafe (peep those dog mooncakes!) 🐶🥮 Even though I visit NYC multiple times a year, it was incredibly hard to leave after 10 years 🗽 Crosby was truly my support animal - I felt lonely as I only had a few friends here in HK (shoutout @gutakesworld @prettyinpalm 🙏🏽), worked from home alone and had severe anxiety over if I could keep earning a living running Indulgent Eats full-time. Even though NYC is still my biggest audience, I was missing out on sponsored opportunities or in-person events. I got stressed out every time I posted something from HK, worried I would lose followers and in turn, my livelihood 😖 But eventually I figured out the balance of recipes, NYC content from my visits back (which will be at least 4x a year once we get out of COVID!!) and from my awesome intern @alexatethis, HK posts to grow my audience here, and all of my Asia travels, which were so much easier from this flight hub ✈️ Indulgent Eats would not exist without the support of you amazing followers and my incredible husband @proofdaddy 👩‍❤️‍👨 His stable finance job was the reason for our move and the only thing keeping me afloat since my paychecks are so inconsistent.
