Hong Kong Watch 🇨🇦 加拿大「救生艇計劃」詳情 —— 「青年人才」政策 隨著北京政府強行通過《港版國安法》並取消四位民主派議員議席，加拿大移民部長於本月12號公佈「#救生艇計劃」，希望填補英國及澳洲現有計劃的空缺，為更多香港抗爭者提供安全離開香港的機會。 加國「救生艇計劃」主要分為三個部分，其中一個針對「#青年人才」，政策內容如下： 優先處理香港學生之留學簽證申請； 為任何持有香港特區或英國公民（海外）護照的大專院校畢業生（過去五年內畢業）提供三年工作簽證，成為將來入籍的途徑。同時，申請者的伴侶及兒女亦可申請留學或工作簽證； 為畢業於加拿大大專院校的香港人、或擁有最少一年加拿大工作經驗並符合語言以及教育要求的香港人，包括申請者身處當地的直系親屬提供入籍成為永久性居民的途徑。 我們將於明天、後天繼續講解「#庇護」以及「#家庭團聚」政策，欲知更多詳情亦可留意Hong Kong Watch 社交平台或加拿大政府移民、難民以及公民部網站。 🇨🇦 Explainer of Canada’s Lifeboat Scheme —— “Young Talents Policy” Following China's brutal imposition of the National Security Law and the National People’s Congress’ decision of disqualifying 4 pro-democracy legislators, Canada joined the U.K. and Australia in offering a “Lifeboat Scheme” to Hongkongers. Canada’s Lifeboat Scheme was split into three major distinctive components, including “Young Talents”, “Asylum” and “Family Reunification”. Details of "Young Talents" Policy are as follows, Prioritizing Hong Kong students’ study visa applications. Providing a three-years work visa for individuals with a Hong Kong passport or BN(O) passport who have graduated from post-secondary institutions in the past five years. Eligible spouses or common-law partners, as well as dependent children, can also apply for a study or work permit. Providing pathways to citizenship for former Hong Kong residents who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in Canada and individuals who have gained a minimum of 1 year of authorized work experience in Canada and meet other criteria such as minimum language and education levels. In-Canada spouses, partners, and dependent children of applicants will also be included.
