However at that time, I didn't really want to have any special relationship. Although I liked him as person, I was only open for friendship. It took me a while to really open up to him and accepted him as someone more. He definitely did a lot in the beginning- the chasing, the ignores, unreplied texts and stuff. But in the end, he was still there patiently trying and waiting for me to open the door. Never once he rushed me for anything. Always told me it's okay, I didn't need to answer right away. He had always treated me with respect.
Along the way I'd learned that he's the most dedicated, consistent and a hardworking person. And he's a direct person. He knows what he wants and he goes for it. He was the first one who confessed first and asked me to be his girlfriend. I remember he said that I didn't have to say yes or respond to him right away. When he met my family, he told them he would marry me within 2 years and that just showed how serious he was about us. He told me he wanted me to be his last. To be honest, I did doubt that I mean pfft men always say things right? The thing is, he's honest with me. He's always very honest. He tells me everything and he never makes me doubt his feelings for me. Back then he never failed to text me every morning before he went off to work and when he got off, not once. He would come and meet me on every off day, sometimes even on his working day if he missed me that much. So many things to list out and these little things are the ones that eventually made me fall for him. Slowly falling head over heels for the man that he is. I was never attracted to over-coated flirty words, luxury or gifts. I prefer directness, effort and gestures. I told him firmly in the beginning that I didn't want his money because I could buy whatever I want on my own. I forbade him from buying things for me except for treating me food which he always happily did. ❤️

I always believe in being courteous and polite to people. But I'll also be the first one to call out a bitch if she steps out of line. And i have lost fans and friends because of my directness. I don't mind, because I want to gravitate around the right people. And the right kind of people, in my opinion, are the kind that have manners.
