🔺If your lower back is curling, sit on some blankets. ·
🔺Hold the pose. Breathe into it. The pose changes dramatically as you hold it. ·
🔺Similar to some of our poses in this challenge previously, you're not working the forehead to the legs, but you're actually lengthening the spine; you're working the chest to the toes and extending the spine. ·
🔺Belly to thigh first, chest to knee then chin to shin. ·
🔺Remember to squeeze the knees straight and ensure the knees are not collapsing but pointing straight up the ceiling. ·
🔺Whatever you're holding onto (strap / shin / ankle / feet), you can bend the elbows wide then directionally move the elbows FORWARDS to help extend the spine and torso. ·
