Hephaestus was the god of fire. He was a craftsman.

Both Hephaestus and Ares were sons of Zeus, king of all the gods. But they were totally opposite.

Hephaestus was a good-natured god. He usually got along well with everybody.

Hephaestus was good at making things. He built all the houses on Mount Olympus, the home of the Greek gods and many useful tools for gods. Although he built things with bronze, iron, silver, and gold, he could also make living creatures out of clay. When Zeus asked him to do so, he built a woman, Pandora out of clay, Pandora was the first mortal woman in the world. She was said to have had a mysterious box of evils. When she opened the box out of curiosity, all those evils were released into the world. Today, when we say somebody “opens a Pandora’s box,” it means the person causes a lot of trouble accidentally.

　赫菲斯托斯擅長建造東西。他在希臘眾神之家奧林帕斯山上，建造了所有的房屋，並為打造許多有用的工具。雖然他可以用青銅，鐵，銀和金來建造東西，但他也可以用泥土製造生物。當宙斯要求他這樣做時，他用泥土打造了一個女人，潘朵拉，她是世界上第一位凡人女子。據說她有一個神祕的邪惡盒子。當她因為好奇而打開盒子時，所有邪惡都被釋放到這世界。現在當我們說某人「打開潘朵拉的盒子」就代表這個人不小心造成很多麻煩。

The King of Dragons (Japanese: ザ・キングオブドラゴンズ Hepburn: Za Kingu obu Doragonzu) is a 1991 side-scrolling beat-'em-up video game by Capcom that allows players to choose from five characters in order to travel through the kingdom of Malus and defeat the monsters that have taken over, as well as their leader, the red dragon Gildiss. It features a level advancement system, allowing character attributes to be upgraded as players progress through the game. The setting is very similar to that of Dungeons & Dragons and other medieval fantasy worlds, with familiar monsters such as Orcs, Gnolls, Harpies, Wyverns, Cyclopes, and Minotaurs. The music in this game was composed by Yoko Shimomura.
