I am pleased to say he is safe, well, and reunited with a verified LEGAL GUARDIAN. Before his rescue, he was found at the entrance of Abbey gate hours before the deadly detonation that took the lives of 13 service members. ⁣ ⁣ When I look at this picture, I notice how tight the man is holding the child. Possibly a sigh of relief or just thankful that the child was found and well. ⁣ ⁣ I hope he knows what the cost was to bring him home..⁣ ⁣ But a picture is worth a thousand words or thoughts..⁣ ⁣ I think of the men and women that had to make such hard decisions in the face of death and desperation.⁣ ⁣ I think of the 13 service members that risked all so THOUSANDS may live.⁣ ⁣ I think of the Marines of 2/1 and 1/8.⁣ ⁣ I think of the 2 USAF PJ Operators that rushed countless orphans to the final staging point with Doc.⁣ ⁣ And then I think of HN (Doc) Max Soviak..⁣ ⁣ When I think of Doc Soviak, I ask myself, where do we find such men? When his purpose was revealed to him, how was he able to press forward, despite the risk and imminent death? How is a young man like Max, focused and driven, able to not only care for Marines but for the countless civilians that begged for his help. ⁣ ⁣ This right here embodies the spirit of the fighting men and women that protect us. Please read and share🙏🏽❤️ #Repost @praxedes09 with @make_repost ・・・ For Doc Soviak⁣ ⁣ I have permission from Doc’s Soviak mother to post this and respectfully requesting National / International assistance on this matter.⁣ ⁣ During the evacuations, I have credible reports of how chaotic it was not only to the Afghan people but also to the service members who had to make tough life and death decisions.⁣ ⁣ - Thousands of children unaccompanied to the gate.⁣ - People dying from heat exhaustion in the crowds.⁣ - Infants and children are being trampled on by widespread panic due to gunfire.⁣ ⁣ There’s so much more that happened that I would rather not describe, but you get the point of what I’m saying. ⁣ ⁣ In this picture, you will see Doc Soviak days before his death. Doc’s parents have fostered kids throughout his youth, so it was only natural for Max Soviak to become a Navy Corpsman and personally take special interest in the children in dire need.⁣ ⁣ This is where I need your help.⁣ ⁣ Doc’ Soviak’s parents want to adopt the little boy that is on his lap. His parents are assumed to have been murdered by the Taliban, but he ended up at the gate by himself.⁣ ⁣ The last known whereabouts of the young boy were when Doc Soviak handed him to a USAF P.J member as he rushes to save more children. That P.J. member then gave the child to the Norwegians that were conducting evacuations.⁣ ⁣ At the time of change over, the boy was stable and safe. ⁣ ⁣ The destination is unknown, and we have no name to identify him due to the chaos. ⁣ ⁣ All we got is this picture. ⁣ ⁣ Many of you have reached out to me offering assistance or wanting to get involved.
