    Here's a little bit background on how we managed to get this shot. We were preparing to get this dress shot inside the palace as we were worried it will be too cold outside. But went to Christiansborg Palace only to find out that most of the display rooms were closed on Christmas Eve. Found this place by accident, where people use this passage way to go to the Royal Library. Braving the cold in this weather for this photo shoot. What an adventure to end the year! @ Royal Library Garden, Copenhagen

    北歐建築＆美學記藝 ~ 丹麥（1）
    【丹麥皇家圖書館】

    位於哥本哈根市區，弗雷德里克島運河（Frederiksholms Kanal）運河旁。舊館始建於1660年，當時這兒也曾是哥本哈根行政中心，所以一旁還有克里斯蒂安堡皇宮（Christiansborg Slot）。

    新館1999年完工，由丹麥SHL（Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects）建築事務所設計規畫，被暱稱為《黑鑽石》（black diamond），為北歐五國中最大的圖書館。整體以巨型花崗石立面雕砌成梯型外觀，光潔亮面映照光線與河水時，迷人的曖曖光芒便隨水面波光交織閃爍。室內不同曲線的弧度堆疊出蜿蜒河流意象，呼應館外運河樣貌，也融合地貌生態。

    新館和舊館間有空橋連結，館內還有丹麥本地藝術家Per Kirkeby創作的天花板壁畫。無論是新舊館，或者館內外，都是明亮舒適便利親民。圖書館附設餐廳Restaurant Søren K水準出奇地好，若有機會前來，不妨一試，雖說嗨咖侍者糊塗了些。

    從圖書館的設計及品質便可窺知當地閱讀習慣與文化美感，丹麥皇家圖書館逛一圈，會讓人真心感受到此地居民的幸福生活樣貌。
