a cesspit 😉

Soo... someone sent me this through the mail. Made for a riveting read... i was glued to my seat the entire 13 hour flight and was finished cover to cover by the time we landed. Hardly noticed the time fly by, i was having a whale of a time entering the oceanic tale of lies and deceit. I have to admit that in the beginning it felt a bit surreal as i sat there and all that was going through my mind was, “what happened to these people that i grew up with, sat around the house playing UNO with and watched movies with?”, and i am sure those who grew up with us will probably be thinking the same thing and be shocked as to the extent the family and other players had sunk to the abyss and cesspit of lies and deceit. They had become so far removed from reality and the sufferings of the people. As i got further into the book i found myself becoming increasingly angry... not angry at the authors but at the perpetrators for the shameless, senseless pillaging that nearly ripped an entire country. Our people were suffering, are still suffering, our children and their children’s children will be suffering for many years to come as a result. Yet, there are so many in this country who still refuse to wake up and smell the coffee. This whale needs to be beached immediately and all that has been swallowed or those that have swallowed must be brought to task for the misery they have caused the people of Malaysia. Even then, once all is done and the dust has settled i still don’t think it will ever be enough to right the wrongs they have done but one can always hope and pray, can we not?
