Statement Marking One Year since the Passing of Former President Lee Teng-hui
AIT joins Taiwan in marking one year since the passing of Lee Teng-hui, former president, reformer, partner, and friend of the United States. Taiwan’s profound transition to a vibrant democracy in a little over a decade took place under President Lee’s leadership, and forms the foundation of the U.S.-Taiwan partnership that has brought so much benefit both of our peoples, the Indo-Pacific region, and the world. An alumnus of Iowa State University and Cornell University, President Lee also embodied the deep and broad people-to-people ties which bind the United States and Taiwan. President Lee’s courage and commitment helped transform Taiwan into a beacon of freedom and democracy and in cementing the U.S.-Taiwan friendship destined to endure into the future.

[閒聊-Michael Burry vs Tesla]
前陣子Michael Burry 在Twitter 一直 popo 刪刪自己對於Tesla的文章，現在終於正式表態了。

自己覺得Michael Burry這時間點確實還不錯，等到能預期的所有利多結束後才跳出來，股價也看起來有點疲弱，比鐵頭的David Einhorn時點上選擇好了不少(別誤會，我很欽佩David Einhorn挑股票的能力，他總能用淺顯的邏輯說明他的觀點，挑出跟大家不一樣的東西，但他也不太管其他人在想什麼，鐵頭跟大家硬著來在不理智的市場中就會比較累)
我覺得可以想幾個問題:
1.高回報的製造業通常需要哪些特性，才能大幅推高利潤率? 哪些特性會讓製造業的規模效應十分明顯?(例如:台GG)
2.車用這邊發展類似Android和IOS的系統，思考一下大多數人多少時間花在開車，多少時間花在用手機。
4.思考先行者優勢明顯的產業有哪些特性 (順道一題 google是第18家搜尋引擎公司)
5.材料本身的能量密度決定了上限，目前各家電池水平到哪了?電池的領先是否已經是終局?
6.自駕車目前各家技術就第三方排名是怎麼樣?為何它們這樣排?具體而言還需要多久才能商用化?
7.可以看一下歐洲和中國電動車銷量的最近狀況。
8.成功的機率有多高。
一般來說研究員的工作要盡可能的基於事實，不能基於事實也要基於常識、歷史來推論，而推論的立基點越底層通常會越有說服力，可以訓練看看。
