    東征北討去試酒；
    雖說辛苦你懂否？
    其實都只是藉口。

    好啦好啦，我承認，我就是愛喝，試酒只是剛好而已～
    .
    今天最讓我眼睛一亮的是Belle Glos 2002年份的 "克拉克電話" 黑皮諾，這是Caymus旗下的黑皮諾紅酒，在18年前的2002年採收釀製，剛好跟我大女兒同年。

    而經過了18年的時間淬鍊之後，我家大女兒已經亭亭玉立，而這支黑皮諾也完全展現韻味與風華。

    此酒聞起來充滿成熟布根地一般的甜美香氣，濃郁的玫瑰花香，非常迷人。口感則有如黑莓果醬，甜美而不膩，丹寧圓潤，而且帶有層次豐富的餘味，是一款大家都很驚艷的美國黑皮諾。

    第一次喝到Gibson的酒款時，有一些熟悉的感覺，說不上來是什麼，直到去查閱了Gibson的酒莊資料。

    原來，酒莊的創始人Rob Gibson曾經在Penfolds酒莊工作過。就在1974年，那個尼克森因為水門事件下台的年代，Rob Gibson從基層的壓榨機的操作員和葡萄酒發酵工藝的助理開始做起，也經歷了那個傳奇釀酒師Max Schubert的神奇年代。

    或許因為Max Schubert的啟發，也可能是Rob Gibson的天賦，在1981至1982年間，Rob Gibson擔任Penfolds酒莊釀酒師期間，他研發了一項葡萄栽培技術，並成立了葡萄栽培部門，為知名的Grange Hermitage挑選了最優質的Shiraz。

    而他在1997年離開了Penfolds酒莊，創建了Gibson Wines，為澳洲酒業打開另一頁展新篇章。

    酒莊位在Barossa Valley，因其氣候土壤的關係，釀造出極佳的Shiraz，Cabernet Sauvignon以及Merlot。在品酒會的活動上品飲，特別對Gibson’s 100% Shiraz有印象，驚艷但不驚訝，畢竟Gibson的Shiraz結合了Penfolds的釀造經驗，以及反應了Barossa Valley獨特的風土條件，也怪不得連續六年獲得James Halliday最高級別的五星酒莊。

    品酒會中的另一個酒莊，則是來自於新世界的葡萄酒產地翹楚，美國加州Napa Valley，說得更精確一點，則是Rutherford。

    或許你對Rutherford不熟，但可能有聽過Caymus（這十年來不斷於國際葡萄酒大賽中，多次在盲飲中擊敗法國波爾多五大酒莊，同時也獲得 Robert Parker 的高度評價，Wine Spectator 更將之列為加州五星級酒莊的第一名）或是Quintessa，他們的所在位置正是Rutherfold。

    Rutherford 日夜溫差很大的氣候型態，而土質主要由 Napa 河所沖刷沉積的礫石堆與沖積扇所構成，讓生長在上面的 Cabernet Sauvignon 更具結構、骨架更結實，也更耐的住陳年。Rutherford 可以稱得上市Napa Valley 的 Pauillac。

    而位在Rutherfold的Round Pond具有如此優勢的風土條件，也怪不得被認為是Napa Vally的明日之星了。
