UNESCO site Calakmul in Mexico is one of the most magnificent ruins we've seen in Central America😍 Standing on top of Structure VII pyramid where the rubber workers discovered 14 stories tall Structure I and II is an amazing feeling❤

The structures were tiered, which made them super unique! Could even see Guatemala from the top on a clear day 🇬🇹 So glad we made it here! The archeologist we met in Chichen Itza was not wrong, this is definitely a must see😊

從沒有想過我們兩個能夠獨享一座一千四百多年歷史的瑪雅遺址😍 整整一個多小時，完全不見任何人影👤 微微的徐風吹在臉上，看著偉大的遺跡，心中的感動無法形容❤️

Xpujil 這座瑪雅遺址就在我們的住宿徒步二十分鐘距離，規模雖小（只有十七座），但從 400BC 到 1000 AD 也是個了不起的王朝👑 它沒有附近的 Calakmul 以及 Becan 偉大，但卻有自己的魅力❤️

最大特色應該是三個塔的主要建築，以前上面還有面具雕刻👺 如果真的存留的話，會不會讓大家想起柬埔寨的吳哥窟呢？至少我是這麼想的😂

雖然一剛開始中美洲安排了十個瑪雅遺跡，York 整個皺眉頭說到後來一定會很無聊😑 可是目前已經第六個了，卻每個都還與眾不同，有自己的故事😊 所以還是長途旅行好，能夠深入一個觀光客稀少的地區，看見不一樣的地方❤️ #墨西哥 #是瑪雅還是馬雅啊 #背包客蜜月之旅

By basing ourselves in the tiny town of Xpujil in Mexico🇲🇽 We were only 20 mins walk from a 1500 year old Mayan city ruin😍 During our two hour visit there we didn't see ANYONE 👀

It is pretty amazing to have the place all to ourselves and soak up the history at our own pace❤️ This is why long travel is great, you get to avoid other tourists and explore sth different😆 Ps. Near Xpujil or Calakmul Mayan Ruins, there is this "bat cave" at Volcan de los Murcielagos where millions of bats come out of the cave every dawn, creating a spectacular natural phenomenon!
