在加拿大做廚房中島有多貴？

先預告一下這個系列的抒發都會非常冗長😅
從零開始的研究量好大，待我娓娓道來～

存了兩年多，我一直想認真蓋一個拍片專用的廚房攝影棚，把歷來拍片的各種需求全部考量進去的極限小工作室！所以我花了滿長時間蒐集想法和設計，終於今年決定要開工了！我年初的時候很天真、很樂觀地覺得大概整個案子一個月就會撒花剪綵結束了吧?

No No No...
現實裡天真的想法都一定會給妳來一記天打雷劈的回馬槍。

殊不知，從去年疫情爆發期間北美家家戶戶也都決定要在這一年開工，超多人都要蓋家庭工作室和室內裝修，建築原物料受到疫情影響價格大暴漲，要找到好的工班和訂到材料也是排隊搶手不行，頭洗下去後才看清楚這池子裡瘋狂的裝潢熱潮...

我們的底線是這次的預算一定要抓的非常膽大心細：
用錢分配的比例，大概是 3：1，
中島檯面佔3 ： 剩下的全部佔1...
畢竟拍片時最重要的就是中島檯面啦😇 無須贅言～

瓷磚和櫥櫃大概第二重要，
其他地方像是層架、地板、燈具啦，能省則省！

我們第一次殺去精品中島展間就很菜地劈頭問說 ：

因為我們現在的中島材質是Quartz人造石英石，估計是凱薩石之類的，素色中島的表現在螢幕上不是太好，所以對有華麗紋理的大理石存有不少幻想，第一次看完花紋太美頭太暈還差點就訂了喔！後來回家小當家大理石研究模式全開，到底是要Statuario, Carara, Calacatta, Sydney 各種經典天然大理石鬼斧神工的紋理要選哪種？

結果發現大理石感的中島材質還有更多種選擇！

#廚房檯面材質選擇
這邊簡述一下，如果想完成IG上非常火的大理石中島Look，
價格從低到高大概會有下列幾種選擇：
- Laminate 披著大理石貼皮的層壓板
- Quartz 人造石英石
- Porcelain 密瓷 / 陶瓷
- Ultra Compact Surface 不知道該怎麼翻，超密超硬？
- Natural Marble 天然大理石

根據我們這次的需求：
貼皮的在鏡頭上塑膠感會很重，刪除。
人工石英石的紋理都不夠自然，刪除。
天然大理石，王道！，但是沒抗UV會變色也不好保養，刪除。
最後就剩下密瓷和的超級硬材質要研究了。

後來發現這兩個材質的花紋都很好看是因為他們是用大型印表機印上去的，紋理質感超自然，真的是檯面生產技術一大突破，而且每一片都長得一模一樣，都不用去現場挑板子選紋理了。
重點是板材很薄很輕，硬度比人造石英石(Quartz)還硬還耐用喔。

缺點：
- 紋理沒有自然大理石的千變萬化，每一張都一樣。
- 一次就要買整張板子比較貴。 (52才)
- 安裝比較困難。

先說結論！我們最後選的是西班牙帝通石(Dekton) ，屬於Ultra Compact Surface，主要是看中其中一款大理石紋路、硬度最高、耐刮、完全防火耐熱、零孔洞吸水率極低，好清潔。
因為帝通石算是近幾年才出現的選擇，整個蒙特婁沒幾個展間有實體的板材可以看。

我們第一間跑去市內最大的展間詢價時，他們主打的是另一個義大利陶瓷名牌SapienStone，也是很好看很滿意，跟業務說明需求、繳出設計圖後在家裡靜靜等報價。

等了兩天（很正常，這邊的人做事走悠哉路線）收到報價單。
一開信看到總價傻眼了10秒（報價單貼在留言裡）

“加幣16,000” ＝ 新台幣 36萬
純檯面而已，不含下方櫥櫃

我們一度還懷疑是不是寫錯多寫了一個零啊？？？
打電話去問業務再度確定，報價是正確的...

檯面5000、切割組裝3000、運送安裝8000。
瘋了嗎？整個廚房的預算光是一個中島檯面就爆炸了啊😂
安裝費8000是會有30個人登門來安裝嗎！？

後來認真爬了一下北美各大家居論壇發現這種報價單似乎是一種常態，只要切超過50才單位的板子，系統發包過程很容易給出這種天價的安裝費... 業務也是敲個系統出報價單，要自己做點功課去理論才會幫你重出單子，最後我們是放生了這一家回覆慢報價又貴的精品廚具商。

陸續跑了四、五個實體店面估價有正常一點，但也不是很漂亮。

終於換到電話詢價到帝通石背後的生產商Cosentino集團，
一開始覺得對方會覺得我們神經病，個人戶買中島買到歐洲去，(是說在台灣都是直接去石材行選中島的很正常啊) 結果對方很nice的和我們說 "給你我們蒙特婁切割工廠的電話吧，可以和他們聯絡～"

聽到關鍵字“上游工廠 ”，小當家的眼睛都亮了！
手中緊緊握著抄下他們家的電話的便條紙（好寶貝），當天立馬打電話預約，下班後開了一個多小時去一個蒙特婁郊區偏遠的工業區現場看貨。

接待我們業務小姐人超級好，也難得看到居然有客人來切割工廠下單，很仔細確認所有的需求，還特別帶我們參觀整個工廠，看板才、看水刀、看CNC 和黏接組裝區，解釋石材從進廠到製作成客戶檯面的流程，她也很坦白的說他們今年因為疫情生意超級好，訂單要排到兩個月之後，我們當然只能頻頻點頭說：沒問題沒問題。

#如何壓低客製廚房中島價格
既然已經是工廠價，為了把總價壓低，我們的策略是：
∙ 到府丈量/諮詢 → 省略（自家包了測量和3D出圖）
∙ 要切滿整張板子，不做waterfall，降低自行安裝難度
∙ 到府運送安裝 → 省略 (自家開車載，我們=安裝工人)

業務姊姊一派輕鬆的給我們打氣說，安裝很簡單啦，自己做OK的！不過其實帝通石的安裝需要做很多功課，板面只有12mm厚，運送、安裝施力和膠材要小心。

少了丈量、運送、安裝這幾個最貴的人工費用整個拿掉，單純只有材料跟製作費，最後的總價是第一家報價的四分之一，畢竟材料和CNC人工還是很貴。

雖然還是不便宜，不過詢了很多家之後，我們滿肯定報價滿合理的，就只是要這個安心的感覺嘛。

為了這個中島，小當家做了超多材質搜尋，現在他對中島檯面可以說是略懂略懂。自從收到第一家報價單之後，我已經完全放棄全部交給他去弄，這邊要好好謝謝他，做了很多功課認真幫我們家省$$$🙇‍♀️ （這個廚房案子今年給他抵生日、情人節、聖誕節大小節日的禮物了）

哎，以北美來說大概沒有比在疫情這一年做裝潢最差的時機，
被困在家裡這麼久、餐廳又都沒開天天在家裡自煮的狀況下，現有的廚房可能都看膩了，加上旅行、餐廳的預算省下來那不如把廚房改一改吧。原本不想裝潢的人我看過了一年之後都忍不住心癢癢的。

需求大增，整個供不應求。
看廚房設備得排隊30分鐘才能入場，每一家廠商都是一付訂單做不完、缺貨等不到的情況，週末的IKEA排隊人龍很驚人，週末還看到新聞報導說沒有排一個小時進不去... 各種系統櫃也是大缺貨～～～

反正選擇今年做裝潢，缺貨、缺工絕對是一定，需要比平常有更多倍的耐心跟包容就是了。
我真是會挑時機啊🤦‍♀️

這幾天一直看到 Starbucks 進軍義大利的新聞，即便是如此龐大的企業，要前進咖啡文化的故鄉還是花了不少時間，總有星巴克不敢前進義大利的說法，如今這間新店卻比任何一間都氣派豪華，咖啡一直是義大利人最自豪的部份，未來衝擊交流十分可期!!

At the Milan Roastery, heritage and innovation take center stage against a backdrop of stunning design and immersive discovery. As you enter the building, you're met with a jaw-dropping view that spans every aspect of the Roastery experience. Vibrant colors reflective of the Italian fashion and design community greet each person, and over the course of the day, the space transforms from the light filtering through the glass ceiling.
At the heart of the environment is a fully-functioning Scolari coffee roaster, manufactured just miles outside of the center of Milan. To the right, customers will find the main bar, where classic espresso beverages mingle with cutting-edge coffee innovation. The wood-fronted bar features fluting, which echoes a motif found in Italian architecture throughout history, and is topped with marble sourced from the world-famous quarries of Tuscany.

Upstairs on the mezzanine, customers can discover Arriviamo Bar – where mixologists are on hand to create specialty cocktails behind a 10-meter (30-foot)-long marble bar carved from a single block of Calacatta Macchia Vecchia. And finally, to the left, customers will see upon entering a Princi Bakery, complete with a wood-fired oven, built brick by brick, onsite by hand using a crew of masons and artisans. “We have spent the past year living and breathing the city of Milan, working closely with dozens of local artisans to bring to life our most beautiful retail experience that engages each one of our customers’ senses – sight, sound, touch, smell, and of course, taste,” said Liz Muller, chief design officer. “From the palladiana flooring that was chiseled by hand to the bright green clackerboard made by Italian craftsman Solari, everything you see in the Roastery is intentional, offering moments of discovery and transparency.”

Throughout the Roastery, the physical retail environment is complemented by an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience, encouraging customers to use their mobile device to uncover more about Reserve coffees, the roasting process and the company. The centerpiece of the AR experience is a floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall visual representation of Starbucks history and its coffee – engraved in brass by local craftsmen, burnished to an ombre finish and backlit to bring warmth to the story.
