    【智慧城市】電動滑板車租借 E-scooter rental (trial scheme) @Milton Keynes

    昨天又到了Milton Keynes,
    在餐廳門口見到停泊了好幾部電動滑板。
    Y先生說在電台節目中聽到這是最新推出的租借計劃!

    車身上見到"Spin"這個牌子，原來是Ford旗下的品牌。會以Milton Keynes為試點，推出100部電動滑板車讓居民隨街借用。到9月中便會擴展至300部。

    只要download Spin App, 閱讀規則後便可以每分鐘£0.25 借用，在區內的"Redway"(單車徑) 上使用。

    Y先生經常在車上聽BBC 3 Counties Radio, 對地區資訊蠻了解，非常推薦大家收聽。他尤其喜歡聽Andy Collins 😅

    Three counties 是指Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire 和Buckinghamshire。

    把英國不同城市類比為香港不同的地方。
    其中，Milton Keynes被喻為香港的「科學園」。

    我個人是蠻認同的。

    Milton Keynes的城市策略定位處於Oxford 與Cambridge (Cambridge-Milton Keynes-Oxford arc) 及Birmingham和 London之間。

    在二戰時因其地理位置之便，集合Oxbridge大學的人才，在Bletchley Park 研究破解德軍Enigma, 也是現代電腦之先驅。

    到近年，Milton Keynes也是英國很多創新科技公司的大本營。

    一間以教授創新科技為主的大學MK:U也將會在市中心落成，可容納15,000名學生。
