4 cloves garlic
1½ tsp minced ginger
2 packet spicy mala hot pot soup base
1.5 litre of water
220g Konnyaku (cut into bite size pieces)
90g Japanese vermicelli
1 packet Dodo salmon seafood ball
1 packet Dodo fish maw seafood ball
1 packet Dodo mushroom seafood ball
1 packet Dodo cheesy cuttlefish seafood ball
1 packet Dodo prawn seafood ball
1 packet Dodo signature fresh fish balls
8 pieces shiitake mushrooms
1 piece lotus root (sliced)
1 whole carrots (cut into bite size pieces)
1 pack Seafood paste with scrapers (Tobiko prawn, Mushroom chicken, Fish maw)
1 packet Dodo snow crab leg
8 pieces of fresh prawns
1 pack of tofu
150g bok choy
1 stalk of leek (sliced)
300g pork belly slices

We were supposed to go to our new house #TheOldForgeCottage for the new kitchen cabinet measurement today. But when we woke up in the morning and looked out of the window, we were shocked to see that the roads were all covered with a much thicker blanket of snow than yesterday. Fatimah and Ali shouted, “Do you wanna build a snowman?” ☃️

It was all white as far as our eyes could see. Even the main road. We couldn’t even get the car out without shovelling the snow around the tyres. So we had no choice but to reschedule the measuring appointment for another day. And what else is better than to play in the snow? ❄️

This would be our last winter getting frostbite in our old house. We will definitely miss our beautiful garden, especially in the winter. Even though we are going to miss all the old memories we’ve created here, we are looking forward to build new memories in our new humble abode. Anyway, it was a well spent freezing Sunday. Now, bring it on, another whitey freezy Monday! Brrr...🥶

We’re back! We missed you! Brrr! Who else is feeling the cold in the UK? Ok, it makes it feel extra Christmassy so it’s not so bad. I must be too used to the weather in Hong Kong because as a family, we just haven’t been coping too well. I had been so lethargic and dealing with migraines constantly so went to see a doctor on Thursday to be told I’m just al title anaemic. It’s nothing serious at all but it just meant I didn’t have energy/mood to do ANYTHING so I’ve been hibernating for a week. I feel more energised today so decided to edit this vlog albeit we haven’t been getting up to much I have to admit. Nonetheless, we hope you guys enjoy this vlog.

Whenever we ask Dash "What time is it?" he very excitedly runs to the couch and plops himself there for his allotted TV time!! This clip is shot over 3 different nights

Explanations for the shows:

Pororo: A cartoon about penguin and his friends

Tulli: A tiny slug explores around wondering what common objects are since he has limited vision of them due to his small size. He makes guesses by their smell, texture etc. For example he sees a partial view of a tomato and says "Maybe it's a red ball". This is how Dash learnt how to guess what objects are! He excitedly calls the show "Tulli says Brrr again!" because once Tulli touched a cold glass and he went Brrr and Dash found it so funny I rewinded it about 30 times for it to watch that scene over and over. From then on the show is called Tulli says Brr again!

Word World: A cartoon about a world where everything is formed by words. Dash particularly likes the theme song and requests for it to be sung everyday. That's why he calls the show Word world song.

p/s: He hit his shin on the table - I forgot to move it away from the couch - and it looks like a bruise immediately appeared on the shin but actually that bruise is from another knock, not the table. :( Dash is way too active and bruises very easily!!
