為了幫孩子找到好的家庭 再遠我們都願意排除萬難 讓孩子找到一輩子安全的避風港 苗栗收容所寶寶之一Rocky 搭乘3/11的飛機抵達溫哥華 休息一晚後隔天坐著車抵達溫哥華與美國邊界 新爸爸媽媽從奧瑞岡州開四小時的車程到達邊界 接到Rocky後再開四小時的車回到新家 一隻台灣收容所的孩子千里迢迢排除萬難來到這個地方「家」 領養家庭裡也有一隻7歲的台灣虎斑犬 他們為台灣虎斑犬著迷 偶然發現了Rocky家族的照片 開始積極的接洽志工 在多方面的條件媒合下選擇了Rocky 新家有一個超級無敵大的院子 還有兩隻狗同伴 Rocky已經跟原本的兩隻狗也相處很好 麻麻每天會在社團分享照片 也很開心領養的Rocky 來看看Rocky現在的新生活 會讓我們更有動力繼續努力 幫助更多狗找到家 受疫情影響班機大幅減少 台灣好多浪浪無法與領養家庭團聚 我們非常需要溫哥華與美國的護犬大使 如果您有親朋好友今年會到這兩個國家 歡迎與我們聯絡 幫助台灣更多浪浪 In order to find a great and forever home for the kids, no matter how far that the home is located, we would do whatever we can to make it. One of the puppies- Rocky from Miaoli Public Shelter took the flight on Mar. 11th to Vancouver and stayed overnight there. Then the next day Rocky travelled to the border between Vancouver and U.S. States by car in order to meet his new Dad and Mom who drove 4 hours from the State of Oregon to pick him up. And then they drove another 4 hours back home. One puppy from a shelter in Taiwan travelled all the way and overcame lots of challenges to arrive a place called “home.” The family adopted Rocky also have one 7-year-old brindle Taiwan dog. They are fascinated by brindle Taiwan dogs. When they saw the pictures of Rocky’s family coincidentally, they started to contact our volunteers proactively. After several interview and match, they chose Rocky. Rocky’s new home have an enormous yard and two other dogs. Rocky has now blended in the family and gotten along well with the other two dogs. Rocky’s mom would share photos with us and let us know how wonderful that she felt after adopting Rocky. Let’s take a look of Rocky’s new life. This is what really motivate us to continue helping more dogs to find a permanent home. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, there’s a significant drop in demand of flights and passengers. There are so many dogs in Taiwan that can’t be united with their new family overseas. We truly need passengers that travel to Vancouver and USA to help bring the dogs over.
