【人類圖：人體圖上的紅色設計 (the design side in our bodygraph)】
Ra一直以來，都是用「unconscious 無意識」這個字來形容紅色，也就是設計的部分。我自己這幾年來的體會跟理解是，unconscious的部分，是我們完全無法控制，平常也意識不到的部分。我們無法控制心跳速度、腸胃蠕動消化速度、血液循環、新陳代謝...這些全部都是unconscious。
常看到有人說「紅色的部分 = 潛意識」。這樣的說法我總覺得哪裡怪怪的，畢竟 unconscious 跟 subconscious是完全不一樣的。英文版的《區分的科學》裡面在講紅色部分時，也是用 unconscious 這個字(如圖)。
其實歸根究底，在根本上的意思，就是祖師爺Ra常說的那句話：「Surrender. We have no choice. 臣服吧，我們別無選擇。」想想，全身上下，我們真正能控制的部分有多少？
我們身體這個載具，有其自己的運作方式，我們可以保養、好好調理這個載具/肉身，但無法改變我們的細胞、DNA。我們能改變的，就只有意識(mind / conscious)。
補充說明：心理學或者其它專業領域，對「潛意識」有專門的定義跟說法，我所講的完全是以人類圖的角度出發，跟其它領域無關。若有機會，非常歡迎不同領域的交流，這對意識的精煉很有幫助。

在過去幾年裡，隨著我深入瞭解這門知識，我發現人們大大地忽略了表層(surface)。表層是一切運作的呈現，因為這是幻象所在。人類圖絕對是關於“世俗(Maia)”的，因為這是唯一能看見幻象是如何運作，看清一切運作機制的地方。
深入探索知識是很有意思的，因為你看見了“宇宙(programming)”。你看到事物是如何受到影響，你看到各種事物的根源。然而到頭來，這些遊戲規則、這些戲碼、這些人生故事的展開，都在表層，都在這張人體圖(bodygraph)裡。世俗的終極幻象與人生故事，都寫在這張圖上。
I've learned over the last years, as I've gone so deeply into design that one ignores the surface at great risk. It is the surface where everything works, because this is where the
illusion is. Human Design is an absolute of the maia. It is the only place where one truly can see the mechanics of this illusion at work. And the mechanics work on the surface.
It's interesting to go underneath because you see programming. You see how things are influenced and you see where the roots of various things are. But in the end, this is where the game is played; this is where the movie is. This is where the story unfolds. And it's in this BodyGraph; this ultimate illusion is here in this BodyGraph that the story of the life is written.
