I always having problem to notice birds that are perching on tree even they are bright in colour or right in front of me unless they keep moving, especially for bird that I haven’t met before. 🙈
That is why I hardly go alone and always need to go along with great buddy with great 👁👁 and ear 👂
Same for this case when I 1st met this gorgeous bird. I can’t even notice till my sifu shows me 🤪

Spending our day at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refugee at Chincoteague Island, Virginia USA. Unfortunately it was closed due to the federal government shut down. But luckily, we can still enter the park and did some hiking and birding!
