: 他的解釋是: Ving分詞短語carefully coordinating可以向前當定語,
: 修飾名詞illustrations, 也可以向後當副詞,修飾capitalized
: 想請問 ,Ving可以當形容詞修飾前面的名詞嗎?
: 還是只有 ,Ved可以當形容詞修飾前面的名詞?

我的看法(小心服用)：

1. ,Ving 絕大多數情況是用來當副詞，修飾主要子句的主詞和動作
如果要當形容詞修飾前述名詞，不需要加逗號，但注意該名詞是否
與形容詞子句有邏輯關係。

ex: The beautiful lady smiling at me is my wife.

2. ,Ved 可以當形容詞修飾前面名詞，用Ved而非Ving的原因，是因為某些be+Ved
當作形容詞用的慣用語，不過這種句型通常是插入句，要注意有沒有fragment
的問題產生。

ex: My wife, interested in classical musics, bought a CD of Mozart.

所以，根據上面的說法，我覺得OG12 解釋105的方法蠻不負責任的。
搞的(A)錯的原因，只因為 coordinating 同時前後修飾名詞。因此我是用
, Ving 當副詞來看，把coordinating這句話，用來看看可否對主語BP capitalized
on her keen observation and love of the natural world 有伴隨或表結果的功能
結果發現coordinating "them" 超級怪異，這個them不知道幹嘛用，指代非常不明確

再看(B)(E)選項，一樣的問題。(D)選項，BP是動作coordinate發出者，怎麼會用
被動來修飾。 (C) 關代which當形容詞子句，修飾illustrations，簡潔正確。

不過我不知道，(B) 如果沒有them，是不是正確的選項？

In her book illustrations, carefully coordinating with her narratives,
Beatrix Potter capitalized on her keen observation and love of the
natural world.
