來自倫敦的 Bloc Party 在貝斯手 Gordon Moakes 以及鼓手 Matt Tong 離團後，在去年找來了兩位新成員貝斯手 Justin Harris 和鼓手 Louise Bartle。

從去年的《The Love Within》、《The Good News 》到最近的《Virtue》，過去總是給人蹦蹦跳跳印象的 Bloc Party，似乎在新成員加入後，展現了和過去完全不同的新氣象，曲調變得成熟、溫柔，就連 Kele Okereke 都彷彿變成了另一個人。

主唱 Kele 去年也曾談到樂團的改變

「肯定會有一些認識 Bloc Party 很久的樂迷會無法適應這樣的改變。」

這位努力將 Bloc Party 延續至今的 Kele 接著說

「Bloc Party 並不是屬於那些樂迷的，而我一直都清楚怎麼做才是對樂團最好的。」

Bloc Party 將於今年 1 月 27 日發行睽違 3 年半的新專輯【Hymns】，也期待新生的 Bloc Party 能再度重回顛峰。
