Pretty in pink ˊ˗ . @margo.hkg is the new addition to HK’s dinning scene. Headlined by chef @mariopaecke_photography (former Chef de Cuisine of SOMM and Sous Chef of 2-MICHELIN-starred Amber) , serving a European-inspired menu with a uniquely German touch. I genuinely enjoyed all the dishes that we had. My absolute favorite is the puntalette with black trumpet mushroom, roasted corn & black balsamic glazed radicchio (HK$328), if it sounds dull to you then you are missing out big time! It’s nothing boring but so flavorful and creamy 🤌🏻 chef also specially made us the Winer Schnitzel which is only available in their lunch menu, while I didn’t eat the schnitzel I got hooked on the fries with the homemade 20-ingredient curry ketchup! I would really love to get a bottle of that ketchup if they are selling 😂 . Desserts are equally delicious created by the talented local Pastry Chef @eanewong . The Margo Mille-Feuille is my personal favorite out of the three desserts we had! Very light and fluffy custard cream and super crisp crust, total game changer! . And hidden away at the upper level is @kyleandbain , the latest whimsical speakeasy cocktail bar headed by Leading Nation’s Beverage Director @jpnuge , his second cocktail bar in Hong Kong continuing the success of The Diplomat.
