Normally, among the holy Shrines in India,much importance is given to mainly four place namely Badrinath in North. Puriin East. Dwarka in West which are dedicated to lord vishnu and the last oneRameswaram in South dedicated to Lord Siva respectively. Similar to that of northern Varanasi (Kasi) the southern Rameshwaram is so familiar and popular for the Pilgrims who wish to dedicate their soul and sprit of their life under the flowery feet of theeternal bliss (God).
通常情況下在印度的聖地，最重要的是有有四個地方，即北邊的伯德里納特。東邊的普瑞。獻給毗濕奴神的德瓦卡在西邊，及最後一個供奉濕婆的拉梅斯沃勒姆在南邊。與北方瓦拉納西（卡西）一樣南方的拉梅斯沃勒姆(Rameswaram)是如此的讓朝聖者熟悉和歡迎而且願意在華麗的腳下奉獻自己的靈魂和生命以獲得永恆的祝福。
Generally, there is a traditional trustseen among the Hindus that is unless or other wise if any pilgrim starting from Kasi and attaining Rameswaram, he could not say that he completed hispilgrimage.
