1. 由於次氯酸水現今未列入乙類成藥，也不屬於含藥化妝品類。因此在廣告上"理應"不能拿來強調可用來洗手，這點算是走在法律邊緣
2. 次氯酸水製備有分成簡易的食鹽電解或是工業的鹽酸電解，成品會有差異，目前尚無法追蹤各家產品所用的實際方法和濃度是否符合標準，這點也是不推薦用的原因之一。
3. 家庭用的次氯酸水製備機...我是很懷疑出來的成品和保存期限啦，沒有很建議購買
